PVRPV Puerto Vallarta Vacations presents Condominio Olas Altas Unit 5, Casa Birdcage, a charming condo in the quaint 7 unit complex known as Condominios Olas Altas located in the heart of Old Town in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.

The Condominio Olas Altas complex is gated, and very secure, offers an in ground pool, gas grill, plenty of beautiful palm trees, lounging chairs, tables and chairs with umbrellas, and the hedges which makes the common area very private to everyone.
All the charm and energy of sidewalk bars and cafes, restaurants, boutiques, Saturday flea markets, art galleries and nightlife are around the corner yet the complex stays relaxing and quiet, just two blocks away from the Bay of Banderas Los Muertos Beach.
Condominio Olas Altas Casa Birdcage is a 750 sq. ft. gem of 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms condominium filled with natural light which has an open loft-like floor plan with 2 levels which includes ceiling fans and a local land line.
On the lower level there is the:
1) Entrance and dining area surrounded by wall-to-wall windows and views of the ocean
2) Kitchen which is well-equipped with gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, cooking utensils and
tableware
3) Living room with Television, cable, stereo, CD player and IPod docking station
4) Full bathroom

On the upper level there is the:
1) Bedroom with king-size bed and flat screen television with cable
2) Closets
3) Full bathroom
4) Outside patio adjoining bedroom with peek-a-boo views of ocean

This condo doesn't have AC.

Construction & Growth in Puerto Vallarta

Neither PVRPV or property owners or their representatives shall under no circumstance be held responsible for any disturbance, construction noise, dust/debris or inconvenience the guest may experience while occupying the vacation property. Whether this caused by the actions of the neighboring buildings, units within the same complex, construction, renovations, mandatory repairs, public service workers or unforeseen circumstances in the surrounding area, NO refunds, reimbursements, discounts or future credits can be issued. This would also include and is not limited to the closure of condo common areas for upgrades and / or repairs. These situations are completely beyond our control and are the result of robust and growing communities.

Due to the continued and constant investment, growth, upgrades and renovations in Puerto Vallarta, from time to time there may be a minor interruption of public services including hydro, water or sewer or the lack thereof. Although this is not a common problem in PV, it can happen.

Property Policy


- ALL properties represented by PVRPV are NON SMOKING this includes; patios, terraces, outdoor spaces attached to or a part of a Vacation Rental Property - if smoking takes place inside the property – you will be obligated to pay, a fine, an extra cleaning fee and you may be evicted.

- Clients shall not remove any item/s from the property, such as kitchen appliances, glassware, furniture, or any other item.

- The use and enjoyment of the property does not include illegal activities such as the use of illegal drugs, prostitution, selling of goods (illegal or otherwise) and/or kidnapping, this is strictly prohibited.

- Excessive noise that may affect neighbors will be strictly sanctioned as per the local building rules and regulations established by the property that you are occupying.

- PVRPV guests and/or the visitors of the guest(s) are responsible to adhere to the rules, regulations and polices of PVRPV and/or the individual property policies thereof. Failure to obey the rules and policies established will be asked to vacate the property without the right to any refund.

The responsibility to know or adhere to the policies, rules or regulations are the responsibility of the guest.

Renters agree to abide by the following Rental Rules while at the property and shall ensure all members of the rental party and any guests they invite on the property will abide by the following rules at all times:

1. The maximum number of people staying in each unit is two adults.
2. All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that might occur while on the premises or during the use of its facilities. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. All the guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.
3. Rentar and their guest must keep the property and all furnishing in good order.
4. Pets are NOT permitted.
5. This is an adults-only complex. No kids are allowed.
6. The use of the pool is at renters' own risk. No more than two invited guests per unit are allowed to use the pool area at the same time. no outside parties or excessive noise are permitted on the pool or deck areas. there is no lifeguard on duty.
7. Smoking is not permitted in the common area of the complex, including the pool and patio area.
8. The security of the complex is of paramount importance. Renters need to ensure that the front gate of the complex is locked behind them every time it is used.
9. no refunds will be given for natural disasters or other events that are out of the Homeowners control (including weather events or political unrest)

Comments About the Vacation Rental Unit:
The unit did not come as advertised with the second television in the upper level sleeping area. This was only a minor inconvenience, but, still, we did not get what was advertised.
Otherwise the unit itself was as presented and we enjoyed our stay.
The pool area requires more and upgraded lounge chairs and certainly more umbrellas. This was noted in our last stay and the Condo complex in 2019 and nothing has changed since then.
The Condo's cleaning personal, Maria's schedule is too much. 3 times per week is excessive. Further, there is no rhyme or reason as to what time she arrives to each unit to clean. It is inconvenient for guests to have to leave when she arrives unexpectedly. Sometimes people just like to come back and relax or nap after a long day in the sun, and with the schedule she has, as it is, it is impossible to do so. We understand however that Maria is not employed by PVRPV but rather the Condominium complex itself.

La unidad no vino como se anuncia con el segundo televisor en el área de dormir de nivel superior. Esto fue sólo un inconveniente menor, pero, aún así, no conseguimos lo que se anunciaba.
De lo contrario, la unidad en sí era como se presenta y disfrutamos de nuestra estancia.
La zona de la piscina requiere más y mejores tumbonas y sin duda más sombrillas. Esto se observó en nuestra última estancia y el complejo Condo en 2019 y nada ha cambiado desde entonces.
El personal de limpieza del Condominio, el horario de María es demasiado. 3 veces por semana es excesivo. Además, no hay rima o razón en cuanto a qué hora ella llega a cada unidad para limpiar. Es inconveniente para los huéspedes tener que irse cuando ella llega inesperadamente. A veces la gente le gusta volver y relajarse o dormir la siesta después de un largo día en el sol, y con el horario que tiene, como es, es imposible hacerlo. Entendemos, sin embargo, que María no es empleada de PVRPV, sino del propio complejo de condominios.

Comments, Praise or Recommendations for the PVRPV Team:
Pablo was our agent during the stay. He was incredible from start to finish. When we couldn't figure out how to use the TV, he arrived promptly to show us how. Further, we had water pressure issues when we first arrived and informed Pablo of this. Within a few days PVRPV Maintenance was there to fix the problem. Pablo also helped us with obtaining a taxi to the airport on our departure for a fair price. It was much appreciated. Pablo should be commended accordingly for his outstanding customer service.
Further, a shout out to Ariana Cruz, who I did live chat with a couple of times on the PVRPV website. This agent is an asset to your company as well. She was able to handle my concerns with attentive calmness, which in turn, calmed me. Thanks Ariana!
To summarize, PVRPV is our first choice always when looking for Vacation Rentals in the PV area!

Pablo fue nuestro agente durante la estancia. Fue increíble de principio a fin. Cuando no pudimos averiguar cómo utilizar el televisor, llegó rápidamente para mostrarnos cómo hacerlo. Además, tuvimos problemas con la presión del agua cuando llegamos e informamos a Pablo de esto. A los pocos días Mantenimiento PVRPV estaba allí para solucionar el problema. Pablo también nos ayudó con la obtención de un taxi al aeropuerto en nuestra salida por un precio justo. Fue muy apreciado. Pablo debe ser elogiado en consecuencia por su excelente servicio al cliente.
Además, un grito a Ariana Cruz, con quien chateé en vivo un par de veces en el sitio web PVRPV. Esta agente es un activo para su empresa también. Ella fue capaz de manejar mis preocupaciones con calma atenta, que a su vez, me calmó. ¡Gracias Ariana!
En resumen, PVRPV es nuestra primera opción siempre que buscamos alquileres de vacaciones en la zona de PV.
