Construction Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming a popular vacation hot spot and is currently experiencing rapid growth. As of late 2018 there has been a noticeable increase in construction areas within the Romantic Zone. Construction usually occurs Monday to Saturday during working hours, and may cause some noise and dust. Since there are numerous new construction sites, it is sometime difficult to get away from the additional activity during the day. We encourage our guests to take advantage of the various beaches and the other parts of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department..


CHECK IN and CHECK OUT

CHECK IN time for all properties is 3:00pm and CHECK OUT time for all properties is 11:00am. If you require early CHECK IN or late CHECK OUT please contact your PVRPV concierge.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $500.00 MXN tax included which must be paid in cash, and collected by concierge..

Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6).

You will be issued 1 set of keys per person for the property you are visiting.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $500.00 MXN per day
  • Damage insurance: $ 698.25 MXN - Damage insurance non refundable is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $10,000.00 MXN. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

Never again at this building. First time I had issues with the security guard. The unit is for 4 people. Ours concierge was helpful to add a friend from GDL and we asked to add another one it was refused without justifications. We had to wait a long time to have an answers to add someone. I do understand the security and it would be not a good idea to bring someone at 3 am. I got that. But we provided the ID card and I checked the background of ours friends. I felt unwelcome and was told every night that my second friend has to be out off the condo before 10 pm and after that 11 pm. I don't know what is the problem with the administration of this building. You should tell your client to make sure they have all guest on the list. The condo was perfect, but especially the security guard at night is rude. There is a way to apply security and be nice to people at the same time. If I wanted to cheat on the rules, I could have. The security guard isn't there always and anybody could get in at that time and also the door of the entrance doesn't lock properly. I didn't do that because I obey by the rules. I'm really pissed off this place. I won't make a review on the website because I'm not this kind of person and at the end it's not pvrpv responsibility I guess. As a lawyer, I took my information and I know there is an organization where I could fill a complaint against the administration of the building. But I won't, I think you should talk about the situation with the owner and the condo association of this building. But, you should manage that situation with the owner of the place because I wouldn't recommend that place.

Also, review goes in 2 ways. If I'm doing something wrong as a client I would like to know so I could change that thing I'm doing wrong.

Nunca más en este edificio. La primera vez tuve problemas con el guardia de seguridad. La unidad es para 4 personas. Nuestro conserje fue útil para agregar un amigo de GDL y le pedimos que agregara otro, fue rechazado sin justificación. Tuvimos que esperar mucho tiempo para tener respuestas para agregar a alguien. Entiendo la seguridad y no sería una buena idea traer a alguien a las 3 am. Lo tengo. Pero proporcionamos la tarjeta de identificación y verifiqué los antecedentes de nuestros amigos. No me sentí bienvenido y me dijeron todas las noches que mi segundo amigo tenía que salir del condominio antes de las 10 p. M. Y después de las 11 p. M. No sé cuál es el problema con la administración de este edificio. Debe decirle a su cliente que se asegure de que tiene todos los invitados en la lista. El condominio era perfecto, pero especialmente el guardia de seguridad en la noche es grosero. Hay una manera de aplicar la seguridad y ser amable con las personas al mismo tiempo. Pero, debes manejar esa situación con el dueño del lugar porque no recomendaría ese lugar. Además, la revisión se realiza de 2 maneras. Beautiful unit. Water pressure in shower could have been better but great location and beautiful pool. Will definitely book again!!!

The concierge, Alfredo, was friendly and helpful. He gave us clear information on how to use the t.v .
Francisco, the Pacifica maintenance man, also was helpful.
The toaster in the kitchen needs to be repaired . It will not toast bread.

1)I arrived two hours early by the flight, called the office to let them know. They said they would have someone meet me. Two hours later thankfully my friends Carl and darrin in 203 arrived so I could wait in their unit instead of looking homeless en la Calle
1) Llegué dos horas antes por el vuelo, llamé a la oficina para avisarles. Dijeron que querrían que alguien me encontrara. Dos horas más tarde, afortunadamente, llegaron mis amigos Carl y Darrin en 203 para poder esperar en su unidad en vez de quedarse sin hogar en la Calle 1). Había un mal olor en el lavadero que impregnaba todo el moho del condominio. Peor si el aire estaba apagado 2) la televisión nunca fue reparada adecuadamente para el servicio DISH. No hubo seguimiento (aunque Magala dejó una nota diciendo que lo haría) 3) De lo contrario, la unidad era hermosa, fácil de navegar en el área romántica
1)There was a bad smell in the laundry room that pervaded the whole condo-sewage mildew. Worse if the air was off
2)the tv was never properly repaired for DISH service. There was no follow up(although Magala left a note saying she would)
3) otherwise the unit was beautiful, easy to navigate in the romantic area

This was our first experience with PVRPV and Pacifica. Both were absolutely wonderful! All of the staff from booking, answering questions before our arrival and during our 2 week stay were readily available. The unit 603 was perfect.....location, comfortable, friendly tenants. We'll be back again.

This is a spacious, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated condo right in the heart of it all in PV. The beds are very comfortable, the views spectacular. The condo was immaculate when we arrived. The maid, who came mid-week, even did the laundry we had left in the laundry basket in the master bedroom. There is a lot of construction going on in this part of PV, so the condo was kind of noisy. But we live in a city so we didn\'t really mind. I would definitely stay here again.

“Location great! Unit position amazing, best in condo complex. Views were outstanding. Construction was tolerable but dusty. Building was meticulously maintained. Pleased with saltwater pool instead of chlorine. Top floor shared living space was lovely. Would definitely come back!”

We enjoyed our stay at the Pacifica, the unit is very nice and had everything that we could want. I wasn\'t aware when booking that construction of 2 new buildings were being built on each side of us, so it was very noisy and lots of dust. However the staff at the property couldn\'t have been nicer and more helpful. The pool area and upstairs grill and dining area were wonderful. We enjoyed our stay with the exception of being in a construction zone

As always excellent service from staff at pvrpv. Property is good.
FYI. When the building is sold out and full there may not be enough room in the pool area.
Noise. It is a very noisy building even when there is no construction.
We did enjoy the condo. Thank you. Gus.

This property has its own policies, please read carefull

PACIFICA RESIDENCES TERRACE RULES POOL HOURS 10:00AM TO 10:00PM
*Pets are not allowed
*No saving chairs
*No smoking in or around the pool
*No glass, food or drinks in or around the pool
*Swimsuits are required in pool.
*Children under 12 yrs old must be accompanied by an adult.
*Pacifica Residences is not responsible for loss of personal articles or injury of the missuse of the common areas.
GENERALES:
*The building is Pet Friendly ( Cats & Dogs only ). Only allowed inside the unit and not in the common areas such as: Terrace, pool area or Gym.
*Renters are not allowed to have guest, friends or visitors to use the common areas of this building. Every person not listed in the register form has deny access to the building.
*Is forbidden to alter or disturb the peace & quiet of this building. Excessive noise is not tolerated from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am
*All tenents, guest or visitors are responsability of the owner of said unit staying
*PACIFICA RESIDENCES is not responsible of any loss, damage or injury caused by the missuse of our facilities.
*The recommendations issued by the security staff should not be ignored. Any violation of the rules could result the eviction, including the risk of an administrative fine.

ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS

Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 p.m., will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 a.m. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 p.m.


Inside security cameras

When cameras move inside, things get a little more complicated. Again, cameras are only allowed in areas where one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Thus, store security cameras used to prevent shoplifting are generally okay. But, what happens when the camera is situated someplace where one expects privacy but that is also an ideal location for one to conceal store merchandise?

Similarly, other areas like rented rooms, hotel rooms, and locker rooms are generally off limits for security cameras. Again, the expectation in these places are for complete privacy, and one should feel comfortable undressing in these locations without having to worry about someone watching or broadcasting the footage.
