Please note Old Town/Zona Romantica is a relatively busy area within the city of Puerto Vallarta. You are in close proximity to city bus routes that offer daily service from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m., which provide easy access to downtown destinations and the surrounding areas. You are also in easy walking distance to a vibrant entertainment district in the evenings you may hear music from nearby bars and clubs, and the sounds of people enjoying these late night/early morning venues.

Puerto Vallarta is a safe, moderately large, bustling city with plenty of old world Mexican charm, with all the sights, sounds and flavors that come with that. Enjoy daily walks along the Malecon (boardwalk), visit the beach, fine galleries, amazing restaurants, outstanding stage shows and nightspots. You are just steps away from all the excitement.

Construction Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming a popular vacation hot spot and is currently experiencing rapid growth. As of late 2018 there has been a noticeable increase in construction areas within the Romantic Zone. Construction usually occurs Monday to Saturday during working hours, and may cause some noise and dust. Since there are numerous new construction sites, it is sometime difficult to get away from the additional activity during the day. We encourage our guests to take advantage of the various beaches and the other parts of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.


CHECK IN and CHECK OUTS

CHECK IN time for all properties is 3:00pm and CHECK OUT time for all properties is 11:00am. If you require early CHECK IN or late CHECK OUT please contact your PVRPV concierge.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD (tax included) or equivalent in Mexican pesos based on the exchange rate of the peso on the date of your payment, which must be paid in cash, and collected by concierge.

Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time Zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6).

You will be issued 1 set of keys for each person noted on the Booking Confirmation.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: Our Standard Cleaning Services included are based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In the case where your rental is less than the time period indicated or you require additional services the cost per cleaning will be $25.00 *USD (tax included). This will be collected by Concierge on the day of the check in.
  • Damage insurance: Every client that makes a booking, is now required to pay an additional $35.00 *USD (tax included) which is for a non-refundable damage insurance. The $35.00 non-refundable damage insurance covers damages up to $500.00 *USD. For additional information please refer to our BOOKING CONFIRMATION POLICY.

Dear PVRPV,

We rated our overall experience this visit as "only" a 3. This was due to two reasons and two reasons only. First, the unit (510) has south facing windows with no black-out shades. The standard shades provide zero light blockage so a late night was always met by a bright early morning in the bedroom. Second and more importantly was the noise generated by the weight/exercise room two floors above. The sound of banging and thumping weights was a constant nuisance, including at 8 AM on New Year's Day. We thought this noise was from the unit above us (610) but we conducted a test and quickly discovered it was emanating from the weight room. We understand the owners of unit 610 have already sold their condo and we certainly understand why.

On the positive side, the security and maintenance teams are the friendliest and most efficient in all of PV. We really appreciate the service of Carlos, Nesto, Alejandro, Victor, David and Luis. It was also a pleasure to meet and speak with Jay.

We would not hesitate to return to Nayri for our next stay this year but we would not choose unit 510. We would prefer to stay on the north side of the building as we did the previous year (501).

Estimado PVRPV: Calificamos nuestra experiencia general en esta visita como "solo" a 3. Esto se debió a dos razones y solo a dos razones. Primero, la unidad (510) tiene ventanas orientadas al sur sin sombras oscuras. Los tonos estándar proporcionan cero bloqueo de luz, por lo que una madrugada brillante siempre se encuentra en la habitación. Overall reasonable value for the money. All PVRPV employees were well presented, trustworthy and professional. Direct conversations with PVRPV management was always friendly.

Some 'next time' feedback on a few nuisance things that prevented 5 ratings in all categories:

- The response on the issues with connecting to the WiFi could have been faster. I believe this took at least a full two days. The error was on the PVRPV side with an incorrect password to the WiFi (both in the hand written note and the email I received). In the end, I think it was building personnel who provided the correct password and eventually resolved the issue.
- Some of the dishware was incompatible with the dishwasher appliance causing plastic glasses to distort under the heat of the appliance. No replacements were provided during the stay even though this was identified early on as an issue.
- Some of the floor tiles are heaving (likely since the floor is uneven in areas) causing the grout to disintegrate around the tiles. This was a known issue with doors not closing properly. Eventually I suspect that the tiles will break / crack. It should be noted however on something structural like this, I would have no expectation that this be remedied during our stay. I'm only pointing it out here since it is an issue that should be addressed by the owner at a time that makes sense.
- We had requested and were promised information on tours in the PV area but never received and consequently did not do any local tours.

In the scheme of it, these are relatively minor issues and did not significantly affect our stay.

Valor razonable global para el dinero. Todos los empleados de PVRPV fueron bien presentados, confiables y profesionales. Las conversaciones directas con la administración de PVRPV siempre fueron amigables. No se proporcionaron reemplazos durante la estadía a pesar de que esto se identificó desde el principio como un problema. - Algunas de las baldosas del piso están abultadas (probablemente debido a que el piso es irregular en algunas áreas) lo que hace que la lechada se desintegre alrededor de las baldosas. Este fue un problema conocido con puertas que no se cierran correctamente. Eventualmente sospecho que las baldosas se romperán / agrietarán. Sin embargo, se debe tener en cuenta que en algo estructural como este, no tengo ninguna expectativa de que esto se solucione durante nuestra estancia. Solo lo señalo aquí ya que es un problema que debe ser abordado por el propietario en un momento que tenga sentido. - Solicitamos y nos prometieron información sobre las excursiones en el área de PV, pero nunca las recibimos y, por lo tanto, no hicimos ninguna excursión local. En el esquema de esto, estos son problemas relativamente menores y no afectaron significativamente nuestra estancia.

Always a pleasure, unit was beautiful and clean, however, did not receive any housekeeping during the stay.
This happened at my stay at Loft268 601 back in October as well, but I understand Willa was a factor during that trip.
Other than that look forward to finding the time to come back again.

This property has its own policies, please read carefull

Rules and Renter Guidelines (5/2018)

1. No Pets / No Smoking - includes balconies
2. Turn A/C off when leaving the apartment or when the windows are open. Electricity is very expensive in Mexico and unseasonably high usage will be charged back to you.
3. Security personnel will follow their guidance, they are here to protect you.
a. Can enforce all community standards if you need assistance.
b. Uncooperative renters and guests can be asked to leave the property, without refund.
4. Additional Guest policy
a. All guests will be registered with security on arrival via ID
b. 2 guest maximum may accompany the renter in a public area
c. An overnight guest is allowed on non-consecutive nights.
d. Parties are not allowed, however casual entertaining of up to 6 guests in the condo is acceptable during non-quiet hours.
e. You are responsible for all guest behavior and damages in any part of the building.
5. Deposit can be used to pay condominium penalties assessed for guests not following the community rules or damaging public areas.

Nayri Life & Spa Building Rules (5/2018)

- Follow any posted instructions
- Public spaces open from 11am to 11pm (Non-quiet hours)
- Shoes not allowed on furniture or lounge chairs
- Take all belongings with you including trash

Rooftop and Pool areas:

- Lounge chairs cannot be reserved.
- Vacant furniture of 30 minutes, belongings can be moved to the sound equipment area
- Smoking not allowed
- Shower before entering pool
- No glass on the rooftop
- No food or beverages inside the pool
- Audio devices must be at a low level
- No jumping, running, or diving
- Cushions may not be removed or transferred from furniture or lounges

In the Gym:

- Do not remove any equipment from the gym area or use elsewhere
- Clean equipment after use, wipes are available
- Minimum age of 16 allowed
- Throwing or dropping weight is prohibited and will create disturbance for units below.

Inside security cameras

When cameras move inside, things get a little more complicated. Again, cameras are only allowed in areas where one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Thus, store security cameras used to prevent shoplifting are generally okay. But, what happens when the camera is situated someplace where one expects privacy but that is also an ideal location for one to conceal store merchandise?

Similarly, other areas like rented rooms, hotel rooms, and locker rooms are generally off limits for security cameras. Again, the expectation in these places are for complete privacy, and one should feel comfortable undressing in these locations without having to worry about someone watching or broadcasting the footage.
