About Vista Del Sol 110

This beautifully decorated beachfront condo is located on the southern end of the historic old downtown area of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico.

Weve all heard the three most important words in real estate are:
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. This condo holds true to those words.

This condo features 2 air conditioned bedrooms and 2 full private bathrooms with a common area of the living room, large dining area and a fully equipped kitchen including a refrigerator, stovetop burners, oven, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils and a blender,. There are sliding glass door that open onto a private terrace off the living room with a view of Los Muertos Beach. The artwork is gorgeous and the furnishings represent true Mexican craftmanship. These gated community condos are handicap accessible. There is an elevator and a walkway to the beach located on the first floor.

You are within walking distance to historic old downtown and everything, Puerto Vallarta has to offer. The list of attractions/activities are endless. At the end of your daily excursions, you can return home and enjoy the view of the beautiful Banderas Bay.

**Wireless Internet is available in the main floor lobby at a small fee. A common area laundry is available in the building.

Note: The common area laundry room is located close to the unit so some noise might be heard from the unit.

Please note that this condo building is located in a relatively busy area within the city of Puerto Vallarta. During the day along with regular street noise you will hear city buses just a few blocks away that offer daily service from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. The close proximity to city bus routes provides easy access to downtown destinations and the surrounding areas. You are also in easy walking distance to a vibrant entertainment district, in the evenings you will hear music from nearby bars and clubs, and the sounds of people enjoying these late night/early morning venues..

Puerto Vallarta is a safe, moderately large, bustling city with plenty of old world Mexican charm, with all the sights, sounds and flavors that come with that. Enjoy daily walks along the Malecon (boardwalk), visit the beach, fine galleries, amazing restaurants, outstanding stage shows and nightspots. You are just steps away from all the excitement..

Construction Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming a popular vacation hot spot and is currently experiencing rapid growth. As of late 2018 there has been an noticeable increase in construction areas within Puerto Vallarta..

Construction usually occurs Monday to Saturday during working hours, and will cause some noise and dust, but there are no guarantees. Since there are numerous new construction sites, it is sometime difficult to get away from the activity and noise during the day. We encourage our guests to take advantage of the various adventures Puerto Vallarta has to offer. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department..

CHECK IN and CHECK OUT

CHECK IN time for all properties is 3:00pm and CHECK OUT time for all properties is 11:00am. If you require early CHECK IN or late CHECK OUT please contact your PVRPV concierge.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $500.00 MXN tax included which must be paid in cash, and collected by concierge..

Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6).

You will be issued 1 set of keys per person for the property you are visiting.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $500.00 MXN per day
  • Damage insurance: $ 681.80 MXN - Damage insurance non refundable is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $10,000.00 MXN. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

Only problem was unable to use freezer as was filled with owners stuff..we could only get ice in it not our other items

They could replace the mattress and pillows on beds, same one's for last 10 years very old and uncomfortable.

Overall we were happy; however we were very disappointed with the maintenance next door. It was very loud and annoying after all we were on vacation. We booked the unit several months before our trip and were never told major construction was going to take right next door. My wife went in person to PVRV to speak to somebody to see about moving us but the representative who helped was not there and the other person she spoke with never responded after saying he would check to see if we could move to another unit. We were also not told the pool was under renovation so for the first several days of our trip we had to walk to another facility inconvenient. We have been using PVRRV for several years and have never encountered this. I hope this is not the new standard and that in the future when we book we are notified of these type of inconveniences.
En general, fuimos felices; Sin embargo, nos quedamos muy decepcionados con el mantenimiento al lado. Fue muy ruidoso y molesto después de todo estábamos de vacaciones. Reservamos la unidad varios meses antes de nuestro viaje y nunca nos dijeron que la construcción principal iba a tener justo al lado. Mi esposa fue en persona a PVRV para hablar con alguien para ver si podíamos mudarnos, pero el representante que ayudó no estaba allí y la otra persona con la que habló nunca respondió después de decir que verificaría si podíamos mudarnos a otra unidad. Tampoco nos dijeron que la piscina estaba en proceso de renovación, por lo que durante los primeros días de nuestro viaje tuvimos que caminar a otro lugar inconveniente. Hemos estado usando PVRRV durante varios años y nunca nos hemos encontrado con esto. Espero que este no sea el nuevo estándar y que en el futuro, cuando lo hagamos, seamos notificados de este tipo de inconvenientes.

Even though this was Low season and high volume of construction going on in front of, and on the roof of our building, (thanks to Alejandro for forewarning us of this) we did not hear it nor were we inconvenienced by it. The staff at the condo building were extremely helpful and courteous and we were signed in with no problems.Everything was fantastic. We have been using PVRPV pretty much since their beginning and once again everything was as expected and then some. Angel came by while we were waiting for our transportation, and as always was a pleasure to see him!
I gave the Website a four due to the fact that all of the condos used to have what type of sleeping arrangements were available. Such as whether the beds were double beds ,(which can be tight for 2 adults) or two singles, or a king or a queen, etc Some of the listings do have it, but not all, and some have pictures , but with the camera angle it can be difficult to tell what size bed it is if not listed. This can also be a bit complicated for sleeping arrangements when you have a mixed group. The only other thing I can think of is, the old site listed how many stairs there to the property . These are just some things noted and overall the website is GREAT.
Once again, another great stay in Puerto Vallarta! Starting to make plans for our next trip already!!!!

A pesar de que esto fue temporada baja y un gran volumen de construcción pasando frente a, y en el techo de nuestro edificio, (gracias a Alejandro por advertirnos de esto) no lo oímos ni nos molestó. El personal en el edificio de condominio fue extremadamente servicial y cortés, y nos registramos sin problemas. Todo fue fantástico. Hemos estado usando PVRPV prácticamente desde sus comienzos y una vez más todo fue como se esperaba y algo más. ¡Ángel vino mientras esperábamos nuestro transporte, y como siempre fue un placer verlo! Le di cuatro al sitio web debido al hecho de que todos los condominios solían tener el tipo de arreglos para dormir disponibles. Tales como si las camas eran camas dobles, (que pueden ser ajustadas para 2 adultos) o dos individuales, o un rey o una reina, etc. Algunos de los listados sí lo tienen, pero no todos, y algunos tienen fotos, pero con el ángulo de cámara puede ser difícil decir qué tamaño de cama es si no está en la lista. Esto también puede ser un poco complicado para los arreglos para dormir cuando tienes un grupo mixto. La única otra cosa en la que puedo pensar es, el antiguo sitio enumeraba cuántas escaleras hay a la propiedad. Estas son solo algunas cosas que se notan y, en general, el sitio web es EXCELENTE. ¡Una vez más, otra gran estadía en Puerto Vallarta! ¡¡Ya empezamos a hacer planes para nuestro próximo viaje !! Overall the unit was very nice and the location was great. We only had a few issues with the unit. The cleaning service needs improvement. My husband had to arrive to our unit and clean out all the AC unit filters(filthy) and fans. They were all very dirty. The stove and oven in the unit also needs to be calibrated or replaced altogether. We did place a work order, but they were not even able to correct the issue. Finally the shower head in the guest restroom needs to be replaced or cleaned. We did not even bother to report that, given the cleaning and oven issues we figured this would be ignored also. Other than these issues the unit and facility were nice.

As a family we would consider staying there again next year unless La Palapa unit 401(we have stayed in this unit for the past 8 years until this year) starts to allow 5 guest again.

I have recommended PVRPV to several of my friends who have asked about c0ndo rentals. I feel that over the past few years you have given me good service.
The only problem with Vista del Sol was the storm and flooding that took out the power and water, but that was no one\'s fault and overall our stay was good. Staff were very conscientious and courteous and we left tips for everyone when we left. If we decide to come back to Puerto Vallarta next year we will be contacting you. Thank you for your service. Property Policy

This property has its own policies, please read carefull

WELCOME TO VILLAS VISTA DEL SOL

Check-in / Check-out:
At check-in, you will be given a set of keys to your condo. We strongly recommend that while out enjoying the city, you leave the keys at reception. Check-in is at 4:00 and check-out at 12:00 noon.

Maid service:
Basic maid service is provided Monday through Saturday, except for Mexican Holidays. Maids do not do personal chores such as ironing and do not clean or maintain kitchens. A suggested tip of about 10-15 pesos a day per person is a guideline – it is certainly not a requirement. You may also consider tipping the mozos (bellboys) and security guards.

Telephones:
You are charged in-house for ALL local and long distance calls and you will be asked to pay at the reception desk when you leave. Local calls can cost as much as the connection to long distance, use a calling card. To do so, call reception at 100, and ask them to dial your access number. Calls made within the building (between condos and to reception) are free.

Water:
Water coming into Vista Del Sol is purified and many people drink it. If you want to buy a bottle of water, simply call the front desk (100) between the hours of 9am and 5pm, and ask for one to be sent up. There will be a charge of $30.00 pesos.

Peace and Quiet:
11:00 pm is considered the time to limit noise, but disruptive, loud behavior is not allowed at any hour. Please be considerate.

Laundry:
Make reservations for the laundry in the basement at reception. $15.00 pesos per hour.

Internet:
We have computers available for email, etc. Charges are posted on the wall at reception.

General:
Our condo bylaws prohibit the draping of clothes, towels etc. over the railing. Pool rules (posted) must be obeyed. No pets of any kind. Please report any water leaks.

ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS

Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 p.m., will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 a.m. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 p.m.


Inside security cameras

When cameras move inside, things get a little more complicated. Again, cameras are only allowed in areas where one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Thus, store security cameras used to prevent shoplifting are generally okay. But, what happens when the camera is situated someplace where one expects privacy but that is also an ideal location for one to conceal store merchandise?

Similarly, other areas like rented rooms, hotel rooms, and locker rooms are generally off limits for security cameras. Again, the expectation in these places are for complete privacy, and one should feel comfortable undressing in these locations without having to worry about someone watching or broadcasting the footage.
