Construction & Growth in Puerto Vallarta

Neither PVRPV or property owners or their representatives shall under no circumstance be held responsible for any disturbance, construction noise, dust/debris or inconvenience the guest may experience while occupying the vacation property. Whether this caused by the actions of the neighboring buildings, units within the same complex, construction, renovations, mandatory repairs, public service workers or unforeseen circumstances in the surrounding area, NO refunds, reimbursements, discounts or future credits can be issued. This would also include and is not limited to the closure of condo common areas for upgrades and / or repairs. These situations are completely beyond our control and are the result of robust and growing communities.

Due to the continued and constant investment, growth, upgrades and renovations in Puerto Vallarta, from time to time there may be a minor interruption of public services including hydro, water or sewer or the lack thereof. Although this is not a common problem in PV, it can happen.

Property Policy


- ALL properties represented by PVRPV are NON SMOKING this includes; patios, terraces, outdoor spaces attached to or a part of a Vacation Rental Property - if smoking takes place inside the property – you will be obligated to pay, a fine, an extra cleaning fee and you may be evicted.

- Clients shall not remove any item/s from the property, such as kitchen appliances, glassware, furniture, or any other item.

- The use and enjoyment of the property does not include illegal activities such as the use of illegal drugs, prostitution, selling of goods (illegal or otherwise) and/or kidnapping, this is strictly prohibited.

- Excessive noise that may affect neighbors will be strictly sanctioned as per the local building rules and regulations established by the property that you are occupying.

- PVRPV guests and/or the visitors of the guest(s) are responsible to adhere to the rules, regulations and polices of PVRPV and/or the individual property policies thereof. Failure to obey the rules and policies established will be asked to vacate the property without the right to any refund.

The responsibility to know or adhere to the policies, rules or regulations are the responsibility of the guest.

THIS IS A SMOKE FREE PROPERTY
No smoking inside the property, the unit, on the terraces / balconies. Smoking is permitted in the designated area of the 8th floor rooftop (NE corner near restrooms).

OCCUPANCY POLICY
Maximum occupancy of 3 people in the unit.
Minors above the age of 9+ are permitted.
NO Minors under the age of 9 are permitted.
This unit offers Daily Housekeeping Service from Monday to Saturday (no Sundays or Mexican Holidays), this service may not be declined but you can ask the housekeeper to come back later.

VISITOR POLICY
Only guests registered and confirmed in your booking are allowed to occupy the unit.
Only 2 visitors are allowed at a time and must be registered with the Administration.
No overnight visitors are allowed.
The number of persons stipulated on the guest’s Booking and the confirmation email is the maximum number of people allowed to stay at the vacation property. If more guests arrive to stay / occupy than stated on the Booking Confirmation, they may be denied occupancy. In the event they are permitted to check-in an extra charge may apply.

PET POLICY
Sorry no pets allowed in the unit.

NOISE RESTRICTIONS
NO HIGH VOLUME or NOISE AFTER 10:00 PM: Including Speakers, Music, Televisions, etc. inside of the unit.

POOL POLICY
The use of the POOL is at your own RISK.
NO glassware in the pool or around the pool. PLASTIC glasses and stemware only.
NO Pool Parties.
NO Running around the pool area.
NO Urinating in the pool. Please use the washrooms in the room next to the pool.
PLEASE SHOWER or RINSE prior to using the pool.

GUEST KEYS POLICY

You will be issued 1 set of keys for each person noted on the Booking Confirmation. Keys must be returned in the same condition as received at the time of Check-Out.

PLEASE NOTE: Should you lose, damage or not return a set of keys the cost is $1,000 pesos for each key. Please have this fee prepared to be collected by the concierge at the time of check-out (CASH ONLY). This Fee is NOT covered by the guest damage insurance.

"La Palapa Resident/Guest Information and House Rules"

La Palapa is not a hotel or timeshare. It is a collection of private residences. Many of our neighbors live in the building full-time.

Quite hours are from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. daily. Puerto Vallarta is all about having a good time, but please be respectful when it comes to making noise.

Please close metal entry gates and entry doors to each condo quietly. No slamming gates and doors.

No smoking in common areas of the building, such as hallways, lobby, elevator, etc. Smoking is permitted in the designated area of the 8th floor rooftop (NE corner near restrooms).

Please do not put trash in the hallways. Excess trash may be brought to the front desk for disposal. Front desk staff can also supply extra trash bags.

Help us keep La Palapa looking great by not hanging items over exterior patio railings, including towels, bathing suits, flags, lights, etc.

Everything in the condo is personal property. That includes towels, linens, dishes, glassware, etc. Issues with internet connectivity, televisions, remote controls, etc., are the responsibility of the owner. Please contact the owner with questions.

Electricity in Mexico is expensive! Please turn-off the air conditioning units when you're not in the condo and turn them back on when you return.

Front desk staff must remain at the desk for building security. Please do not ask them to come to the condo unless it is an emergency.

Don't bring strangers into the building! Trust us on this one. That's a very bad idea in Mexico. All guests must register at the front desk for entry.

If you take drinks up to the pool, please use plastic glasses - and don't forget to bring them back to the condo. No glass at the pool!

Please do not "reserve" chaise lounges and other pool furniture using personal property, such as towels, and then leave the pool area. Feel free to use pool furniture while you are at the pool.

Comments About the Vacation Rental Unit:
The place was nice enough. Had a very good view and was comfortable. We had an issue with check in (miscommunication with the management agency). We ended up waiting 2 hours to check in. The place was a little dated and didn’t seem very well maintained. The AC in the living room was broken, but they came to fix it. After that everything was fine. For the price, I would recommend other places.

El lugar era bastante agradable. Tenía muy buenas vistas y era cómodo. Tuvimos un problema con el check in (mala comunicación con la agencia de gestión). Acabamos esperando 2 horas para registrarnos. El lugar era un poco anticuado y no parecía muy bien mantenido. El aire acondicionado del salón estaba estropeado, pero vinieron a arreglarlo. Después de eso todo fue bien. Por el precio, recomendaría otros lugares.
