About La Palapa 302

This wonderful vacation home is tastefully decorated and located high above famed Los Muertos Beach. A very nice two bedroom/two bath condo has a wonderful large roof top pool and palapa just a few steps up from front door. This clean and spacious home will make your visit to Puerto Vallarta a fantastic expereince. All the art work within the unit is done by the owner himself.

Constructions Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming such a popular hot spot that we are now experiencing a more than average increase in Construction Sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more then 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and different parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.



ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 PM. will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 AM. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 PM.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $25.00 USD per day
  • Damage Deposit: $ 35.00 — Damage deposit is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $500.00 US Dollars. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

The Unit needs a desperate face lift. Wall\'s and doors are starting to look really tacky. As I said earlier a complete face lift would help this unit tremendously. Probably won\'t stay there again until it\'s done. Agent was almost non existent showed up 20 minutes late when we arrived and called to say he was busy couldn\'t make it for our departure from the property. I hope that (PVRPV) becomes more organized and offer better condos before next year.

Suggestion re your survey: too many questions under each main topic. I like this unit very much; my 3rd time staying there. It needs some maintenance: AC in 2nd bedroom doesn\'t function; lamp on left side of bed missing switch to turn it on. Bathroom vanity in master bedroom (west): cracks in tiles around sink faucet need to be caulked: water is seeping into cabinet below. A rug I pulled out on left side was wet; musty odor when opening vanity doors.
Several overhead lights out throughout unit.
Written instructions for using TV and connecting to internet would be helpful.
Thank you for your help. We have already booked for next year - hasta la vista.

We have been coming to PV for over 20 years and have stayed at numerous places during that time
I consider you the best company and people to work with.
I appreciate everything you do.
Except this trip there was no one there to meet us and show us how to work internet,AC units ,and there was no cable.
I think there should have been a welcome package at least on the table and maybe in the future a bottle of wine or something welcoming?

the unit we rented was dissapointing. No blankets. Turning on and off the lights in the apartment was really complicated and did not make any sense. T.V. and sound system were old, small and obsolete.

Air conditioner in 302 master bedroom needs to be replaced. It was leaking lots of water directly down wall past on/off switch. This is evident to the eye. I was concerned that I might electrocute myself turning unit off during the night! Water pooled on floor behind nightstand. Maintenance staff did some work that stopped some of the leaking, but the mold in the air unit is gross and probably not very healthy for person sleepin under it - me.
Otherwise, we like the unit a lot. I would be interested to know if/when this problem is dealt with before I book for 2016.
Thanks to all of your staff, esp Angel who rescued this low-tech person when I called on a Sunday.
Our flight arrived early!! We arrived at LaPalapa too early to check in, so went out to lunch. Didn\'t connect w/concierge coming or going, but that\'s OK. We\'ve been staying in this building for years.

Loved the unit.

CD player was difficult to operate - it worked on and off. It is 14 years old. We play lots of music.

Air-conditioner in back bedroom is out of order.

Toaster - need to hold handle down to operate.

DVD connection to TV is faulty/loose, but we got it to work with some juggleing.

Balcony fan light not working.

We had a great time and loved the unit despite the few inconveniences.

this unit has a beautiful view however it is very noisy at all times of the day .not a good place to rest too mush noise also kitchen equipment such as pototo smasher or can opener or carrot peeler are all rusted a good clean up in kitchen is needed all the staff are very nice the maid service very good .we are leaving your beautiful town today wish we could stay longer, thank you guys at pvrpv .we arev thinking of renting next year

We enjoyed our stay very much and all of your staff were friendly and professional.
The unit does need some updating and care - there were a few burned out light bulbs, the toaster does not function properly, the knives in the kitchen are all very dull; furniture is a bit shabby.

Overall, it needs some painting and renewal - we will choose a more modern updated place next time - through PVRPV. We already viewed a few properties with one of your staff and will follow up to book.

Thank you. Angel was very helpful and responsive. We stayed in 2 units at La Palapa. The first one, #504, could use some sprucing up. The second #302 was full of art & artifacts - very nice. Next year we will be looking for someplace in Romantic Zone with excellent ocean views, but not on the beach. Beach and surrounding restaurants/bars too noisy.

PVRP staff was great. Condo was awesome. Maid was great! Only two issues. The \"barstool\" is infested with bugs! We placed some work papers on the barstool when we arrived, within two days some type of insect had eaten through the papers. We even were able to capture one of the wormlike bugs and show it to the maid. Throw that barstool out! Second thing, we went to turn on the ceiling fan in the main bedroom, and the glass part of the fixture came crashing down onto the bed. No big deal, but it was probably hanging there for ages. Fixtures should be checked. But, these were small things. We loved the place. Really loved the maid. (But throw out that barstool!) Thanks!

The night before we departed for states, March 31 Cesdr told us we could stay in unit until 3pm since we had a late flight to the US on April 1. At 10:30am April 1 we received a call from Oscar and told we had to be out by 12 noon, he later revised this to 1pm. This caused us to rush around and get every packed 3 hours earlier than we would told the night before. Needless to say we were not happy about your mix up. Also we would never stay in Condo #302 again due to fact the beds were like sleeping on plywood. Gale Black
