The unit was very well supplied and comfortable. We would certainly stay again and recommend to others.
There were three things that weren't working. The leaky faucet in the guest bedroom, which we knew about. Also, we could not get the fan on the patio to work and the remote for the air-conditioner in the guest bedroom did not work.
All else was great!


La unidad estaba muy bien equipada y cómoda. Sin duda nos alojaríamos de nuevo y recomendar a otros.
Había tres cosas que no funcionaban. El grifo que goteaba en el dormitorio de invitados, que conocíamos. Además, no pudimos conseguir el ventilador en el patio para trabajar y el mando a distancia para el aire acondicionado en el dormitorio de invitados no funcionaba.
¡Todo lo demás era genial!

There was construction in the condominium next door from where I was staying. I was told there was construction in the building, but not next door.

Había obras en el condominio de al lado de donde me alojaba. Me dijeron que había obras en el edificio, pero no al lado.

I think there may be bedbugs in the master bed. My body is covered of bites consistent with this bug.

Loved the unit and location. Water pressure for shower in master bedroom wasn’t good but used 2nd bathroom shower and it was fine. Would return to unit again. PVRPV staff were efficient and responsive.

Me encantó la unidad y la ubicación. La presión del agua de la ducha en el dormitorio principal no era buena, pero usé la ducha del segundo baño y estaba bien. Volvería a la unidad de nuevo. El personal de PVRPV fue eficiente y receptivo.

We have rented this condo a couple of times, the time housekeeping was not up to usual standards, the bed sheets in the master bedroom where not changed, the floors throughout the condo were not very clean, the seems to be a bed bug problem in second bedroom (I will send photos on email). As reported to PVRPV representative Jesus the noise of the construction was beyond reasonable for 2 days, the construction was never disclosed at time of renting 202.

Hemos alquilado este condominio un par de veces, el tiempo de limpieza no estaba a la altura de las normas habituales, las sábanas en el dormitorio principal donde no se cambian, los pisos en todo el condominio no estaban muy limpias, el parece ser un problema de chinches en el segundo dormitorio (voy a enviar fotos por correo electrónico). Como se informó a PVRPV representante Jesús el ruido de la construcción estaba más allá de lo razonable durante 2 días, la construcción nunca fue revelada en el momento de alquilar 202.

Lovely Condo. Me my husband and two teenage girls had a fabulous time at this condo! It’s well equipped and the set up was perfect for the four of us. Everything was comfortable from the living room furniture to the beds. There is no AC in the main area but it was not a problem with the nice ocean breeze. We didn’t need it. The wifi was intermittent. Patio and view are awesome! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Adorable Condo. ¡Yo mi marido y dos niñas adolescentes tenía un tiempo fabuloso en este condominio! Está bien equipado y la configuración era perfecta para nosotros cuatro. Todo era cómodo, desde los muebles de la sala de estar a las camas. No hay aire acondicionado en la zona principal, pero no fue un problema con la agradable brisa del océano. No lo necesitamos. El wifi era intermitente. ¡El patio y la vista son impresionantes! ¡Gracias por una estancia maravillosa!

Everyone is amazing, Ceiling Fans were not installed properly they need a right electrician since the fans can cause a fire and lights were not working.

Beautiful View!!! The location was perfect walking distance to anything we wanted to…we literally had everything at arms reach.

¡Great Location!! Refurbished Roof-Top Pool!! Water Provided!! Housekeeper, Nora, was great!! No complaints. Posting said pool would be completed by the time we arrived at it was, as advertised, despite potential weather/construction delays. Thank you!!

Great location
Great view of the ocean. Nice area, not so crowded and loud. Felt safe with guard on duty 24hrs. Pool is being renovated for 3 months, says that im the description. We inquired about another pool we could use. The owner said they would look into day passes for us, but she/he never did. Which is fine but they did have to get our hopes up and make us wait so long to not receive a response. Javier, the manager, was very responsive and met all of our needs that he could im a timely manner. Overall great location, nice home. Would recommend

Pool area was under construction, which we knew in advance, and was not a problem for us.

The cable TV was out for most of our stay. Or maybe I just didn't hit the right combination of buttons on the two remotes. Better labeling on the remotes, or a brief note with instructions would have been helpful.
The rheostat for the bedroom fan is shaky. Difficult to set the fan speed somewhere between all and none.
The overhead fan in the living room looks likes it's going to fly off any minute.

The primary bathroom needs updating. The shower taps do not work properly; the bathtub tiles always look dirty. Very nice space overall - comfortable for 4 people but not for more. Although not necessary a refresh of the flooring and kitchen would be nice. Would be nice to have a light over the kitchen sink similar to the light over the stove. Need to add wine glasses and cutlery including serving utensils. The wooden door to access the unit needs a new door knob. The current door knob is loose and it is difficult to make the key work - significant jiggling is needed to make the key work. One day the key will fail and people will get locked out. The kitchen was nicely equipped which we appreciated very much.

Unit 202 is in pretty good shape, but the ceiling fan in the master bedroom (ocean view) did not work. Also, the master bathroom sink did not have hot water. Lastly, the patio ceiling fan and light did not work.
On Friday night (Saturday at 2:00AM) I was awakened by extremely strong fumes coming up from construction/maintenance downstairs. The fumes were very strong coming in the bathroom near the kitchen and started to fill up the unit. I reported this to the front desk agent since I was concerned about safety. It made us a little sick, especially my mom. We had to block the door with towels. It was a little alarming in the middle of the night. It was probably paint fumes but we could not confirm.
Next time I will pick a different unit. I have enjoyed La Palapa many times over the years through PVRPV, and stayed in other units.

La unidad 202 está en bastante buen estado, pero el ventilador de techo del dormitorio principal (con vista al mar) no funcionaba. Además, el lavabo del baño principal no tenía agua caliente. Por último, el ventilador de techo y la luz del patio no funcionaban.

Regarding the unit and La Palapa in general- a key card entry system would be a great upgrade. I did not like having to leave the keys at the desk when I left the building. Housekeeping was great, but the floor in the kitchen and the cooktop could be cleaned better. The jug a water was empty when I arrived and was replaced the day before I left. I purchased my own bottled water, so this is not a huge deal but it would have been nice to have more water in the unit if this is something the owner provides to guests. Finally, the sink in the bathroom next to the dining area did not work. The sink in the other bathroom dripped constantly, which I'm sure is expensive for the owner. Overall, I great stay at La Palapa. Thank you for letting us use the condo.

We look forward to returning to this property. The space was perfect for us and my mother-in-law; we each had privacy and a place to socialize. The breeze kept the place comfortable with no need for AC (except at night when we didn’t want to leave does open) even in the upper 80s F. Conveniently located to restaurants, shops, and of course the beach. Staff was attentive and check-in and check-out and throughout the stay.

The views were great, location was great. The staff was very nice. The beds were uncomfortable the linens old and worn. The restroom wasn’t very clean and there was a leaking sink.

We have vacationed in Puerto Vallarta for 26 years. Most of those years, we stayed in the La Palapa condominiums. This year we were not expecting to be in PV because of the pandemic. However, we received our vaccination and decided to come for two weeks. This is the first time we have used a local realtor. We were very pleased with the response of the agents at PVRPV.

I was disappointed that nobody from PVRPV was there to meet us, although I understand it was Christmas eve when we arrived...the staff at la palapa was terrific..although I felt awkward at first because they didn't have any idea we were coming because they had no record of our renting the unit..still he was very gracious and assured me that there was no problem. unit desperately needs new linens..the towels were good but the sheets were old and quite worn.

2. No one met us when we arrived. We have been in the same unit for several years and are familiar with it. So it was not an issue for us. 4. No issues with property.
6. It would be easier to make payments if "PayPal" was available. My bank is very concerned about security, and always denies the purchase, and I have to call them. It is a huge ordeal. Alejandro was very helpful in helping us locate a place for 2020. We had wonderful stay for 2019.


2. Nadie nos recibió cuando llegamos. Hemos estado en la misma unidad durante varios años y estamos familiarizados con ella. Así que no fue un problema para nosotros. 4. No hay problemas con la propiedad. 6. Sería más fácil hacer pagos si "PayPal" estuviera disponible. Mi banco está muy preocupado por la seguridad, y siempre niega la compra, y tengo que llamarles. Unit overall could use more detailed cleaning - ex behind bathroom door - clean sponges in kitchen etc. This is not the everyday cleaning I am commenting on - maid was good. A set of Mexican margarita glasses and upgrading of glassware generally. We loved the unit and the location.
La unidad en general podría usar una limpieza más detallada (por ejemplo, detrás de la puerta del baño), limpiar las esponjas en la cocina, etc. Esta no es la limpieza diaria que estoy comentando: la camarera era buena. A very positive experience but constructive criticism is that the unit is very \"tired\" for the price. Pot & pans in bad shape, and bedding is old. I believe it is advertised that the unit has a hair dryer and iron but there were none. The staff at La Palapa are terrific!

PVRPV service was excellent and everyone was great. The LaPalapa unit 202 is feeling a bit tired with some of the fixtures not working right ceiling fan broken the area behind the kitchen faucet looks kind of gross and dirty and the towels and bedding seems like it could use replacing.

Unit needs to be updated. Many things need to repaired or replace. All ceiling fans are bad. Furniture is uncomfortable. Lamp shades are all broken. Description says that unit will have a hair dryer but did not. This is unacceptable. Legs on one dining room chair is broken and is a real safety problem should someone sit on this chair. AAC unit in second bedroom is loud, cycles constantly. Sliding glass door is difficult to lock. Both bathroom doors are badly warped and difficult to close. Roof top of La Palapa restaurant has lots of garbage that needs to be removed.
