PVRPV presents this Puerto Vallarta Condo Rental locaterd in Puesta Del Sol Unit 234, located in downtown Vallarta. Only one block above the world famous Cafe des Artistes and 3 blocks from the Malecon. Enjoy beautiful views of the condominium gardens, pool and Banderas Bay from the living area and balconies.

Condo de Artistes is equipped with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other one has a king size bed.

CHECK IN and CHECK OUTS

CHECK IN time for all properties is 3:00pm and CHECK OUT time for all properties is 11:00am. If you require early CHECK IN or late CHECK OUT please contact your PVRPV concierge.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD (tax included) or equivalent in Mexican pesos based on the exchange rate of the peso on the date of your payment, which must be paid in cash, and collected by concierge.

Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time Zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6).

You will be issued 1 set of keys for each person noted on the Booking Confirmation.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: Our Standard Cleaning Services included are based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In the case where your rental is less than the time period indicated or you require additional services the cost per cleaning will be $25.00 *USD (tax included). This will be collected by Concierge on the day of the check in.
  • Damage insurance: Every client that makes a booking, is now required to pay an additional $35.00 *USD (tax included) which is for a non-refundable damage insurance. The $35.00 non-refundable damage insurance covers damages up to $500.00 *USD. For additional information please refer to our BOOKING CONFIRMATION POLICY.
    *USD or equivalent in Mexican pesos based on the exchange rate of the pesos on the date of your payment.

Comments About the Vacation Rental Unit:
The location was great and I really appreciated Pablo's care and attention to our needs. We found that the security box did not function due to corroded batteries we found in the door of the box. Pablo and his team assessed the box and we determined that the repair or replacement was not important for us. The security at the front desk and entry to the facility was great. We did need to request the second set of keys and they were provided to us. I did not notice the door stops at first but this would have been helpful to avoid the doors slamming from the wind at 3:00 AM. One difficulty I experienced from from a "neighbor." I had a zoom meeting on my friend's lap top at 10 am on Sunday Feb 6. The mic was not working correctly and I did not have headphones at the time. I was quite loud and my colleagues were loud in return. A woman from the next building over yelled at my friends to keep down the noise. When he offered an apology, the woman turned in a huff and offered attitude. I was walking on eggshells the rest of the time and did not even look in the direction of the other building. We nick named the location: "Shady Pines" as a reference to the feeling of being bad children in the old folks home. I know you do not control any of this but I am sharing my honest opinion.

La ubicación era excelente y realmente aprecié el cuidado y la atención de Pablo a nuestras necesidades. Descubrimos que la caja de seguridad no funcionaba debido a las baterías corroídas que encontramos en la puerta de la caja. Pablo y su equipo evaluaron la caja y determinamos que la reparación o reemplazo no era importante para nosotros. La seguridad en la recepción y la entrada a las instalaciones fue excelente. Tuvimos que solicitar el segundo juego de llaves y nos las proporcionaron. Al principio no me di cuenta de que la puerta se detiene, pero esto habría sido útil para evitar que las puertas se cerraran de golpe con el viento a las 3:00 a.m. Una dificultad que experimenté de un "vecino". Tuve una reunión de Zoom en la computadora portátil de mi amigo a las 10 am del domingo 6 de febrero. El micrófono no funcionaba correctamente y no tenía auriculares en ese momento. Yo era bastante ruidoso y mis colegas también eran ruidosos. Una mujer del edificio de al lado les gritó a mis amigos que no hicieran ruido. Cuando ofreció una disculpa, la mujer se volvió enfadada y ofreció actitud. Caminé sobre cáscaras de huevo el resto del tiempo y ni siquiera miré en dirección al otro edificio. Apodamos la ubicación: "Shady Pines" como una referencia a la sensación de ser niños malos en el hogar de ancianos. Sé que no controlas nada de esto, pero estoy compartiendo mi opinión honesta.

Pablo was superb. I had a difficult moment at the office. I was trying to pay my part of the rental. My friend's card was accepted. My card was rejected 9 times that afternoon. I was directed to return. I did the next day and should have waited until the office was officially open. A man responded to me and attempted to complete the transaction another 6 times. I was concerned that my card would be rejected and blocked due to all these attempts. I went to an ATM and took out about $600 US to pay. I returned to the office to pay in cash. The man assisting me reviewed all my bills and rejected on that had ink writing on it. I owed $525. He took $500 and said I could bring the rest to the location. Pablo then came up to me and asked how I was. I was short and frustrated. He stated that I could trust him. I do trust him and we agreed that we would meet at the rental property. We were leaving a condo complex where we were cheated by the owners and did not have all the elements that we expected. Pablo was gracious to us and brought our bags to the rental unit. He then handed me $15 in US singles as the balance of the $40 that I provided. I wanted to cry because he was so kind, caring and honest. Thank goodness I had the presence of mind to offer him the change as a tip for the service we received. Thanks to Pablo and your company for making our stay in PV wonderful and secure. Pablo fue excelente. Tuve un momento difícil en la oficina. Estaba tratando de pagar mi parte del alquiler. La tarjeta de mi amigo fue aceptada. Mi tarjeta fue rechazada 9 veces esa tarde. Me ordenaron regresar. Lo hice al día siguiente y debería haber esperado hasta que la oficina estuviera oficialmente abierta. Un hombre me respondió e intentó completar la transacción otras 6 veces. Me preocupaba que mi tarjeta fuera rechazada y bloqueada debido a todos estos intentos. Fui a un cajero automático y saqué unos $600 dólares para pagar. Regresé a la oficina para pagar en efectivo. El hombre que me ayudó revisó todas mis facturas y rechazó las que tenían escritos con tinta. Debía $525. Tomó $ 500 y dijo que podía llevar el resto al lugar. Entonces Pablo se me acercó y me preguntó cómo estaba. Yo era corto y frustrado. Dijo que podía confiar en él. Confío en él y acordamos que nos reuniríamos en la propiedad de alquiler. Salíamos de un complejo de condominios donde fuimos engañados por los dueños y no teníamos todos los elementos que esperábamos. Pablo fue amable con nosotros y trajo nuestras maletas a la unidad de alquiler. Luego me entregó $ 15 en dólares estadounidenses como saldo de los $ 40 que proporcioné. Comments, Praise or Recommendations for the PVRPV Team:
We enjoy staying at Puesta del Sol and Condo 234 and have rebooked for December 8, 2020 to January 13, 2021. A small suggestion about the Living Room TV. It would be nice to have access to Netflix on a regular basis. Frequently there was a pop up box with the message that too many users were accessing the account and instructions on how to add more users. Also regularly the program would freeze mid show and on occasion it would self correct.
We have given a lot of thought to the rating for Questions 3 and 7. whether to bring up an issue we had in January 2019. The PVRPV staff member did not check the "actual" availability and told us that the owners were not renting the unit for the dates December 10, 2019 - January 14, 2020. We ended up out of pocket and experienced much angst with another rental that we cancelled because Condo 234, which is our preference, was in fact available.

Nos gusta hospedarnos en Puesta del Sol y Condo 234 y hemos vuelto a reservar para el 8 de diciembre de 2020 al 13 de enero de 2021. Una pequeña sugerencia sobre la TV de la sala de estar. Sería bueno tener acceso a Netflix de forma regular. Con frecuencia había un cuadro emergente con el mensaje de que demasiados usuarios estaban accediendo a la cuenta e instrucciones sobre cómo agregar más usuarios. También regularmente el programa se congelaría a mitad del show y en ocasiones se autocorregiría. Hemos pensado mucho en la calificación de las Preguntas 3 y 7. si se debe plantear un problema que tuvimos en enero de 2019. El miembro del personal de PVRPV no verificó la disponibilidad "real" y nos dijo que los propietarios no estaban alquilando el unidad para las fechas del 10 de diciembre de 2019 al 14 de enero de 2020. Terminamos de su bolsillo y experimentamos mucha angustia con otro alquiler que cancelamos porque el Condo 234, que es nuestra preferencia, de hecho estaba disponible.

Comments, Praise or Recommendations for the PVRPV Team:
The suite was clean and very!! well-stocked with equipment/supplies/etc.
The labels and instructions thru-out the suite were time savers and much appreciated.
It would be great if more rental unit owners were this conscientious.

The check-in was on time, informative and thorough.
I asked for a two hour extension of the checkout time and was advised only an hour extension was possible.
While this was no problem at all and I did appreciate the extra hour; the concierge was then 50 minutes late for the checkout and advised that he was late because he was 'busy taking his breakfast'.

I later realized forgot my cellphone in the suite, contacted Jonathan (Alvarado) and he was more than helpful in ensuring the phone was retrieved.
His service was 'above and beyond' as he relayed shipping information to me and ultimately delivered the phone to acquaintances in Vallarta for my pickup upon my return. His professionalism and assistance were greatly appreciated. My experience with this condo and PVRPV has been excellent.
I will certainly be looking for properties with your company for my next visits and have since passed on the website to other Vallarta travellers that I know.

La suite estaba limpia y muy !! bien surtido con equipos / suministros / etc. Las etiquetas e instrucciones de la suite ahorraron tiempo y fueron muy apreciadas. Sería genial si más propietarios de unidades de alquiler fueran tan conscientes. El check-in fue puntual, informativo y completo. Pedí una extensión de dos horas del tiempo de pago y se me informó que solo era posible una extensión de una hora. Si bien esto no fue un problema en absoluto y aprecié la hora extra; El conserje llegó 50 minutos tarde a la hora de pagar y le avisó que había llegado tarde porque estaba "ocupado tomando su desayuno". Más tarde, me di cuenta de que olvidé mi teléfono celular en la suite, contacté a Jonathan (Alvarado) y él me ayudó mucho para asegurar que se recuperara el teléfono. Su servicio fue "por encima y más allá", ya que me transmitió la información de envío y, finalmente, entregó el teléfono a conocidos en Vallarta para mi recogida a mi regreso. Su profesionalismo y asistencia fueron muy apreciados. Mi experiencia con este condominio y PVRPV ha sido excelente. Sin duda buscaré propiedades con su compañía para mis próximas visitas y desde entonces he pasado el sitio web a otros viajeros de Vallarta que conozco. We have rented several 2-bedroom condos in Puesta del Sol for a month or longer and Unit 234 is one of the best. What would make the stay so much better is if:
1. The second smaller bedroom has more and brighter lighting.

Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 a.m. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 p.m.


Inside security cameras

Some properties utilize cameras to improve security for owners, guests and staff. These cameras are generally located in areas where one would not normally have a reasonable expectation of privacy. This might include common hallways, pool and other entertainment spaces, and common laundry rooms to name some examples..

Security cameras inside vacation rentals are discouraged and considered off-limits for areas such as bedrooms, bathrooms and other areas that would be considered private.

Any cameras that are present are installed either by the building administration or unit owner and are not the property of PVRPV.

Building or Complex specific regulations for COVID19

Due to unforeseen circumstances, when or if deemed necessary to maintain healthy and safety protocols for COVID19, the building administration may introduce new guidelines for renters or common areas within the complex. Although PVRPV and team will make every effort to advise our guests of changes, we may not always be made aware of last minute changes or government guideline changes for a specific building. We cannot be liable or held responsible for these changes.

Cleaning & Maintenance

New sanitization processes and protocols have been implemented in an effort to combat COVID19. Our supplies and cleaning products are industry standards and do not pose any environmental concerns for the occupants of the unit or space.

In an effort, to maintain safe social distances for you and our team members, we will ask you to vacate your rental unit while they perform their cleaning duties. Should a major maintenance issue arise that will require our maintenance team to be in your space for a lengthy period of time, you maybe asked to leave while they complete their task. Please keep in mind, we will always do our best to accommodate a specific time or date you wish to have your rental unit cleaned, but may not be able to guarantee it. Our customer service team is here to help you facilitate any special requests you may have for cleaning or maintenance scheduling.

Cancellation Policy

At this time we do not have a specific COVID19 cancellation policy for future reservations. Our Booking Confirmation Policy would apply to all future bookings. For more details: Click here.

Puerto Vallarta is receiving guests. Some countries may offer travel advisories regarding future travel but no travel ban has been implemented. Should government changes be introduced, a policy will be implemented for those guests impacted by changes.

Date Change - Rescheduling Fees Waived

Should you make a future booking or have a future booking and at the time you are schedule to travel you are unable to travel due to COVID19 we will work with guests and property owners to allow a date changes. Currently all reservation / booking date change fees are being waived for guests with travel impacted by COVID19. ALL date changes are subject to availability and per night rate increases. The number of nights of the original booking will be the number of nights granted for a date change, additional nights will be subject to the nightly rate.

COVID19 Testing & Traveling

Canadian Government & the United States CDC require proof of testing prior to boarding an aircraft destined for Canada or the USA. Rest assured, there are many clinics and possibilities for testing.
