About Casa Haber

The La Palapa Condominiums Building is in the Zona Romantica on Amapas Street with a perfect Los Muertos Beach location. In the block across the street are shops, a pharmacy, a convenience store, a nail salon, a choco banana, a change outlet, a laundromat. Nearby are numerous bars, restaurants, internet locations, doctors, dentists, travel agents, and stores. Able-bodied persons can easily walk virtually anywhere from this location and taxis are cheap and plentiful with a taxi stand right across the street. The beach has palapas, umbrellas, and chairs with waiters from the La Palapa Restaurant. You could have a great time in PV and never leave the premises.

Constructions Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming such a popular hot spot that we are now experiencing a more than average increase in Construction Sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more then 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and different parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.



ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 PM. will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 AM. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 PM.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $25.00 USD per day
  • Damage Deposit: $ 35.00 — Damage deposit is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $500.00 US Dollars. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

I absolutely love La Palapa... I have stayed in several units there. I feel that this unit could use some upgrading. There were no wine glasses, no wine opener, etc. Luckily we had some friends in other units and we were able to share dishes.

Great staff. Wonderful maid service. Property location vas awesome. Property not well maintained. Needs a good cleaning. Front door would not lock. TV needs to be updated. Would like to stay in this building again.

As you already know, this unit was not clean upon our arrival and it took the first week of our stay to get it cleaned properly. The unit is in poor condition. Walls need painting, woodwork needs painting, TV is ancient and very small, etc.

Concierge didn't show up for our agreed 10:00 check out. We left the property at 11:00 and gave the keys to the front desk.
There was a leak in the master bathroom toilet which we reported to the front desk on Saturday and was fixed on Monday. We didn't have use of the master bath toilet for 2 days. Other than this, our stay and experience with PVRPV was great. We plan to book with you again when we next visit PV.

We had a wonderful time as usual. Angel is excellent to work with and made our stay as good as it could get. The building has been improved since our last visit and for the better. The pool and lobby area look much better and there are fewer small and scraggly plants around the building. The unit has also had some improvements and looks good. They might want to think about a new stove, refrigerator, TV and microwave though. One thing that could be improved on, is implementing a no smoking policy in the lobby and hallways of the building. For non-smokers it is not very pleasant to enter the lobby and find people sitting there smoking and then having to walk through it. Just a suggestion. Again overall a very pleasant experience.

Of course we always enjoy our stay in Puerto Vallarta. However there are few things to be noted. 1. The noise level in the building and from La Palapa was excessive. We always expect some noise, from construction etc., but this year was tremendous. 2. The quality of some of the maintenance in the unit has suffered, wash basin in MB, AC surounds. 3. The television and cable system need enhancing. Although we are not there to watch TV, would be nice to have a quality TV and cable choices. 4. The pool was dirty at times, with white particles on the bottom. 5. The whole ambiance of La Palpa Condo seems to be suffering. I am not sure why, but just seems like the quality of the whole buidling is on the downturn. We think deferred maintenance is causing it to suffer. For example, instead of having 500 hundred half alive plants, why not reduce them and have all healthy looking ones. The place appears drab. If I were a homeowner and wanted to continue with my investment of renting I would be concerned. We are just giving this feedback, as we love the building, apt and location, but there comes a time when one would start looking elsewhere.
