Siam Cocina Thai
Thai food has landed in Old Town Puerto Vallarta and it’s good! Located next to its sister restaurant “Bravos”, Siam Cocina Thai serves up some of the best curry’s you’ll find anywhere. Choose from Red, Green or Yellow and some other traditional curry dishes like Panang or Lemongrass. The service is excellent and the food is delicious. Thai food might not be what you think when you visit Mexico, but if you love Thai food it’s worth checking out. Foodie Tip: Go with friends that like share. Start with the crispy spring rolls, order a bottle of wine and share a few curry dishes.

The Swedes
Perched on a small cliffside at the end of one of the main streets in Old town, Olas Altas, Swedes has some of the best pasta dishes in town. You will find everything on the menu from chicken to beef, they are all delicious but something stands out about their pasta dishes. A very nice wine selection, fantastic cocktails and fresh, crisp salads will get you started with an amazing main course to follow. Almost always, they have a very fun culinary special that features an appetizer and entrée. Foodie Tip: Great place for a date or with friends. Start with a salad to share and head straight for the pasta. Ps. Save room for desert – they have chocolate cake!

NEW COVID PROTOCOLS FOR PV

On January 10th, the governor of Jalisco, made an announcement about the new protocols coming into place in light of the new COVID19 variant, Omicron. Starting on January 14th, a valid government issued, vaccination record (showing 1 or 2 vaccines) OR negative PCR COVID test will be required to enter certain events and establishments. Either can be in a printed or digital format. This does not apply to beaches, restaurants, markets or shopping centers but will apply to:
- Casinos
- Bars and clubs
- Stadiums (They will lower their capacity to 60%)
- Concerts
- Event rooms
- Convention centers
- Massive events
Valid Certificates
The certificate can be with a complete scheme (Two doses) or with a single dose.
