Construction Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming a popular vacation hot spot and is currently experiencing rapid growth. As of late 2018 there has been a noticeable increase in construction areas within the Romantic Zone. Construction usually occurs Monday to Saturday during working hours, and may cause some noise and dust. Since there are numerous new construction sites, it is sometime difficult to get away from the additional activity during the day. CHECK IN and CHECK OUT

CHECK IN time for all properties is 3:00pm and CHECK OUT time for all properties is 11:00am. If you require early CHECK IN or late CHECK OUT please contact your PVRPV concierge.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $500.00 MXN tax included which must be paid in cash, and collected by concierge..

Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6).

You will be issued 1 set of keys per person for the property you are visiting.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $500.00 MXN per day
  • Damage insurance: $ 698.25 MXN - Damage insurance non refundable is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $10,000.00 MXN. Every year we book through PVRPV and you guys are always awesome. This year’s check in and check out process was not as smooth as usual. We were asked to call the concierge when we were leaving the airport which we did. You guys usually just use our flight info to know when to have someone at unit for check in. When we got to the property the concierge was not there waiting for us. We had to call the concierge and let them know we were waiting. After waiting for 15 minutes one person showed up to check in 6 of us that were staying in 3 different units so the total wait time to get to our room was over 30 to 45 minutes. She did her best checking us all in but she seemed very rushed and was not as thorough as we are used to. We really would have expected a couple of people from PVRPV to check us in since there were multiple units. As for the check out, we had a 12:15 check out. We packed up and headed to breakfast. When we returned to the room at 11:30 to cool off and relax while we waited for concierge to arrive and check us out we were unable to wait in the unit because the maid had already arrived, let herself in, pulled all of the bedding and linens and was already washing them and starting to clean the unit. We gathered our luggage and went to the lobby and waited until 12:20 for the concierge. We finally had to call and ask where they were. He said he was already in the unit which didn’t make a lot of sense to us since we were unable to be in the room with the maid cleaning. Other than that our experience with the PVRPV staff was very good.

Cada año reservamos a través de PVRPV y ustedes siempre son increíbles. El proceso de registro y salida de este año no fue tan fácil como siempre. Nos pidieron que llamáramos al conserje cuando salíamos del aeropuerto, lo cual hicimos. Ustedes usualmente solo usan la información de nuestro vuelo para saber cuándo hay alguien en la unidad para registrarse. Cuando llegamos a la propiedad, el conserje no estaba esperándonos. Tuvimos que llamar al conserje y avisarles que estábamos esperando. Después de esperar 15 minutos, una persona se presentó para registrar 6 de nosotros que estábamos alojados en 3 unidades diferentes, por lo que el tiempo total de espera para llegar a nuestra habitación era de 30 a 45 minutos. Ella hizo todo lo posible por registrarnos, pero parecía muy apurada y no era tan exhaustiva como estamos acostumbrados. Realmente hubiéramos esperado que un par de personas de PVRPV nos registraran ya que había varias unidades. En cuanto al check out, tuvimos un check out a las 12:15. Empacamos y nos dirigimos a desayunar. Cuando regresamos a la habitación a las 11:30 para refrescarnos y relajarnos mientras esperábamos a que llegara el conserje, nos registramos. No pudimos esperar en la unidad porque la doncella ya había llegado, se dejó entrar, sacó toda la ropa de cama. y ropa de cama y ya los estaba lavando y comenzando a limpiar la unidad. Recogimos nuestro equipaje, fuimos al vestíbulo y esperamos hasta las 12:20 para el conserje. Finalmente tuvimos que llamar y preguntar dónde estaban. Dijo que ya estaba en la unidad, lo cual no tenía mucho sentido para nosotros ya que no podíamos estar en la habitación con la limpieza de la mucama. Aparte de eso, nuestra experiencia con el personal de PVRPV fue muy buena.

When Angel booked my reservation he made a mistake and booked it for 2020 instead of 2019 and didn’t realize his mistake until a few days prior to our arrival in Puerto Vallarta. The unit we had booked was unfortunately unavailable and he wasn’t able to identify a property to fit our travel dates so we were forced to modify our travel dates and spend more money on the rental. Because we had to change our travel dates, it cost us $1000 USD and when I told Angel the only conciliation that was offered was a free airport pickup (not dropoff). I have received SEVERAL emails regarding all of the changes to my reservation, payment, etc which was very confusing and frustrating. I have now completed my stay and have returned home and am just now being asked for the 2nd payment. I have rented from PVRV in the past without any issues and have spoke very highly of your company. Since Angel has taken over the sales/reservation it has been very unorganized, unprofessional and has impacted my travel schedule as well as my daily schedule because I am constantly having to sort through emails intended for other people, emails that don't make sense and emails that don't apply to me. I am extremely disappointed with my latest experience and reservation with PVRV.

Cuando Angel reservó mi reserva, cometió un error y lo reservó para 2020 en lugar de 2019 y no se dio cuenta de su error hasta unos días antes de nuestra llegada a Puerto Vallarta. Lamentablemente, la unidad que habíamos reservado no estaba disponible y no pudo identificar una propiedad que se ajustara a nuestras fechas de viaje, por lo que nos vimos obligados a modificar nuestras fechas de viaje y gastar más dinero en el alquiler. Debido a que tuvimos que cambiar nuestras fechas de viaje, nos costó $ 1000 USD y cuando le dije a Angel que la única conciliación que se ofreció fue una recogida gratuita en el aeropuerto (no la devolución). He recibido VARIOS correos electrónicos con respecto a todos los cambios en mi reserva, pago, etc. que fueron muy confusos y frustrantes. Ahora he completado mi estadía y he regresado a casa y justo ahora me piden el segundo pago. He alquilado de PVRV en el pasado sin problemas y he hablado muy bien de su empresa. Desde que Angel se hizo cargo de las ventas / reservaciones, ha sido muy desorganizado, no profesional y ha tenido un impacto en mi agenda de viajes así como en mi agenda diaria porque constantemente tengo que revisar los correos electrónicos destinados a otras personas, correos electrónicos que no tienen sentido y correos electrónicos que no se aplican a mí. Estoy extremadamente decepcionado con mi última experiencia y reserva con PVRV.

Property Policy

This property has its own policies, please read carefull

Building rules
1. There will be a cost for additional common area key cards
2. The maximum sleeping capacity for renters and visitors per unit is:
One bedroom = 4 people
Two bedroom = 6 people
Three bedroom = 8 people
3. Visitors are allowed in the common areas until 11pm and they are not allowed to use the pool, unless there is capacity in the unit. 4. Pool is open from 9 am to 9 pm, usage is only for owners and renters.
5. Parties are allowed in the property at common areas, only with authorization from the administration office. Notice should be given to the administration 48 hours beforehand.
6. Pets are welcome to enter the building and transit from lobby to your unit with a leash. They are allowed in the bar area, but not in the pool area, nor in the gym. Maximum weight of pets is 11kg. It is responsibility of the pet ?s owner to clean up after their pet if an accident occurs at the common areas. Pet ?s owner will be responsible for any damages caused by the pet to guests, staff or items in the building. Only 2 (two) pets are allowed per unit. This includes dogs and cats. Any other animal is prohibited.
7. Loud noises from the units will not be allowed after 10 pm, pet noise should not bother guests or neighbors from other units, if so administration will notify and ask the guest to control the noise. If after 3 (three) notifications the situation continues, administration is then entitled to apply sanctions.
8. By staying at the property, you have agreed to be responsible for careless use, negligence, theft or damage of any part of the building, appliances, furniture, electronic components, walls, doors, windows, etc. for yourself and all guest registries in the unit and visitors that may be allowed. Any damages will be charged to the Primary guest, owner or property agency in charge of the unit. 9. You can have food and drinks delivered form any establishment. Delivery people will have access; however, we advise you to inform Front Desk staff once an order is made, in order to allow access. 10. We are not responsible for objects left in common areas or damages to vehicles inside the property.
11. Every vehicle must be registered at administration for a parking space.
12. We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone in case of this policies are not followed.


Inside security cameras

When cameras move inside, things get a little more complicated. Again, cameras are only allowed in areas where one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Thus, store security cameras used to prevent shoplifting are generally okay. But, what happens when the camera is situated someplace where one expects privacy but that is also an ideal location for one to conceal store merchandise?

Similarly, other areas like rented rooms, hotel rooms, and locker rooms are generally off limits for security cameras. Again, the expectation in these places are for complete privacy, and one should feel comfortable undressing in these locations without having to worry about someone watching or broadcasting the footage.
