You are in close proximity to city bus routes that offer daily service from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m., which provide easy access to downtown destinations and the surrounding areas. You are also in easy walking distance to a vibrant entertainment district in the evenings you may hear music from nearby bars and clubs, and the sounds of people enjoying these late night/early morning venues.

Puerto Vallarta is a safe, moderately large, bustling city with plenty of old world Mexican charm, with all the sights, sounds and flavors that come with that. Construction Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming a popular vacation hot spot and is currently experiencing rapid growth. As of late 2018 there has been a noticeable increase in construction areas within the Romantic Zone. Construction usually occurs Monday to Saturday during working hours, and may cause some noise and dust. Since there are numerous new construction sites, it is sometime difficult to get away from the additional activity during the day. We encourage our guests to take advantage of the various beaches and the other parts of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.


CHECK IN time for all properties is 3:00pm and CHECK OUT time for all properties is 11:00am. If you require early CHECK IN or late CHECK OUT please contact your PVRPV concierge.

Please note if you require a CHECK IN or CHECK OUT before 8am or after 8pm you will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD (tax included) or equivalent in Mexican pesos based on the exchange rate of the peso on the date of your payment, which must be paid in cash, and collected by concierge.

Remember that Puerto Vallarta is located in Central Time Zone (same as Mexico City, GMT-6).

You will be issued 1 set of keys for each person noted on the Booking Confirmation.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: Our Standard Cleaning Services included are based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In the case where your rental is less than the time period indicated or you require additional services the cost per cleaning will be $25.00 *USD (tax included). This will be collected by Concierge on the day of the check in.
  • Damage insurance: Every client that makes a booking, is now required to pay an additional $35.00 *USD (tax included) which is for a non-refundable damage insurance. The $35.00 non-refundable damage insurance covers damages up to $500.00 *USD. For additional information please refer to our BOOKING CONFIRMATION POLICY.

The two email documents I had for my reservation are one titled "Reservation Update N.64234420," from July 2, and one titled "Your Trip to the Sun is Coming!" from Nov. 4. Please keep in mind that our friends Bob and Candy arrived a few weeks before my husband and I did, so they met the concierge, but we did not. We simply added a week onto the unit rental, and thus did not meet the concierge.

In neither email did I see anything in writing about the frequency of housekeeping service. Did I miss it? We did not need or want twice-weekly service. The gratuity guidelines are mentioned in the booking confirmation, but not this.

It is confusing to Americans when there is no checkin time or checkout deadline. In contrast, your information describes a penalty for checking in too late or checking out too early. It is my fault I didn't notice that you wanted two working days' notice of when I wanted to meet a concierge for checkout. But I cannot find that in these two emails. It's in a booklet of general condo information that is in the unit, and I was not looking for it there, as the booklet is mainly information provided by the owners of the unit.

However, once I was told by email, the day before checkout, that someone would be there at 10:15, that commitment should have been honored -- as well as known by the person answering the phone at 10:40.

I hope these comments are helpful. It basically amounts to including more complete information in these two emails.

We loved our stay! The only problem worth mentioning is that the internet and Vonage phone line were out for days and there was no clear communication over when it would be fixed. Other than that, everything was fabulous!

Side note: the full time maintenance staff at the Copa de Oro couldn\'t be nicer. Both gentlemen were kind and friendly and I looked forward to seeing them each day.

Property Policy

This property has its own policies, please read carefull

Without a responsible adult (over 28 years old) present, persons under 22 years of age are not allowed. Smoking or Pets are not allowed anywhere on the property. All occupants must sign the condo buildings Rules & Regulations for tenants otherwise a fine will be charged.

Rental Rules: All members of the rental party and their guests agree to follow “normal rules of decorum” of a residential building, including but not limited to: no loud music or TV; any behavior possibly disruptive to others after 10pm will be inside closed doors; efforts will be made to minimize the dragging of furniture or slamming of doors. No smoking or pets are allowed at anytime. All debris and rubbish are placed in the dumpster. All soiled dishes are placed in dishwasher and cleaned prior to departure. One load of laundry is started before departure. No linens are to be removed from the unit. Minors are allowed in commons areas only in the company of an adult. Pool hours are 9am to 10pm. No glass is permitted in the pool area. Parking is to be only in the designated assigned location, even short time parking outside this area will result in towing at your expense. Assure that the garage door is closed after ingress or egress. The Garage door opener is returned upon departure. The renter is not evicted by the owner’s representative, condominium management, or local law enforcement. The homeowner is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the rental party. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. If the premises appear dirty or damaged upon Check-in, the rental party shall inform the Homeowner immediately.

Electric Consumption: The guest agrees to turn off the A/C units when doors or windows are open. The guest agrees to turn off the bedroom A/C units when the bedrooms or the attached bathrooms are not occupied. The guest agrees to keep the living room A/C on and set to 29 degrees when the unit is not occupied.


Copa De Oro is a concrete structure with tile surfaces, so sound can easily be transferred, even amplified between floors. Please consider this in your activities so those living above and below you will be able to enjoy their time here as well.

a) Copa De Oro bylaws prohibit noise after 11PM. Activities that might be disruptive to others should to be taken inside, with doors closed, by no later than 11PM.

b) Loud music and television which disturbs a neighbor around you is not allowed at any time.

c) Wind can often slam a door shut, and send other occupants in the building out of their chairs! Secure your doors so this does not occur. Also those below will be grateful if you do not slide or drag your chairs as the sound easily transfers below.

d) Loud talking or undue commotion in the hallways that disturbs other occupants is not allowed.

e) We are proud to be a pet-friendly building. If you bring a dog(s), you will
need to do your part in keeping us that way. None of us wish to be disturbed by barking dogs, who want to protect you in an unfamiliar environment. Therefore, we request that you please keep your front door closed to avoid barking at passersby, and enclose your pet completely within your unit when you leave him unattended at home alone.

If the owner chooses to allow pets in their unit, each unit may have a maximum of two cats or dogs, each fewer than twenty pounds. Dogs must be controlled on leashes or other pet holders while in the common area. Dogs must be taken outside our grounds for bathroom breaks. Should your animal have and “accident” in the common area you must clean up after them.


a) Any area outside your private unit is considered common area of the condo association. Common areas cannot be altered except by permission of the Administrator or designee and board approval. Expenses associated with damage to common areas will be billed to the homeowner who hosts you.

b) Any areas which contain operational systems for the building, including, but not limited to, the roof and maintenance room, may be entered only with authorization of the Administrator or designee.

c) Articles which may impede corridor access by your neighbors, or are unkempt in appearance, will not be allowed. Towels, bathing suits and the like may not be hung over outside railings.


a) One parking space and one garage door remote is allotted to each unit. Additional parking space may be negotiated and then obtained with the written permission of another homeowner, if available. Cars using an unauthorized parking space will be towed away at the owner’s expense.

b) The front door and the garage door is the building’s first line of defense in our security. Failure to close the garage door upon either exit or entry will result in the loss of parking privileges in the garage.

c) Your car must be parked within its allotted space, and may not extend over to another homeowner’s parking space. Large boats or vehicles which cannot fit into the allotted space and cause access and/or maneuverability inconvenience to others must be parked elsewhere.

d) The lobby entrance to the elevator is not marked for parking, and is not to be used to park your car at any time.


a) Pool hours are from 9AM to 10PM.
b) Except for the Jacuzzi timer switch (located near the pool area bathrooms), other pool controls may only be adjusted by the Administrator or designee, or condo maintenance personnel.
c) Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
d) No glass is permitted in the pool area.
e) Pool use is for the enjoyment of homeowners, their friends, and their tenants only. Pool use may not be granted to anyone who does not own/reside in a condo at Copa, unless accompanied by the owner/guest.
f) Behavior around the pool and all common areas that lessens the enjoyment of the area by others, or disturbs occupants in condos near the pool, is not permitted. No adult nudity or sexual activity or conduct that would not be acceptable in a family setting is allowed. Pool parties must be approved by the Administrator or designee, with five days advance notice.
g) Babies are welcome in the pool in swim diapers. Bathing nude, or in disposable or cloth diapers is not permitted due to health concerns

Inside security cameras

When cameras move inside, things get a little more complicated. Again, cameras are only allowed in areas where one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Thus, store security cameras used to prevent shoplifting are generally okay. But, what happens when the camera is situated someplace where one expects privacy but that is also an ideal location for one to conceal store merchandise?

Similarly, other areas like rented rooms, hotel rooms, and locker rooms are generally off limits for security cameras. Again, the expectation in these places are for complete privacy, and one should feel comfortable undressing in these locations without having to worry about someone watching or broadcasting the footage.

Building or Complex specific regulations for COVID19

Due to unforeseen circumstances, when or if deemed necessary to maintain healthy and safety protocols for COVID19, the building administration may introduce new guidelines for renters or common areas within the complex. Although PVRPV and team will make every effort to advise our guests of changes, we may not always be made aware of last minute changes or government guideline changes for a specific building. We cannot be liable or held responsible for these changes.

Cleaning & Maintenance

New sanitization processes and protocols have been implemented in an effort to combat COVID19. Our supplies and cleaning products are industry standards and do not pose any environmental concerns for the occupants of the unit or space.

In an effort, to maintain safe social distances for you and our team members, we will ask you to vacate your rental unit while they perform their cleaning duties. Should a major maintenance issue arise that will require our maintenance team to be in your space for a lengthy period of time, you maybe asked to leave while they complete their task. Please keep in mind, we will always do our best to accommodate a specific time or date you wish to have your rental unit cleaned, but may not be able to guarantee it. Our customer service team is here to help you facilitate any special requests you may have for cleaning or maintenance scheduling.

Cancellation Policy

At this time we do not have a specific COVID19 cancellation policy for future reservations. Our Booking Confirmation Policy would apply to all future bookings. For more details: Click here.

Puerto Vallarta is receiving guests. Some countries may offer travel advisories regarding future travel but no travel ban has been implemented. Should government changes be introduced, a policy will be implemented for those guests impacted by changes.

Date Change - Rescheduling Fees Waived

Should you make a future booking or have a future booking and at the time you are schedule to travel you are unable to travel due to COVID19 we will work with guests and property owners to allow a date changes. Currently all reservation / booking date change fees are being waived for guests with travel impacted by COVID19. ALL date changes are subject to availability and per night rate increases. The number of nights of the original booking will be the number of nights granted for a date change, additional nights will be subject to the nightly rate.

COVID19 Testing & Traveling

Canadian Government & the United States CDC require proof of testing prior to boarding an aircraft destined for Canada or the USA. Rest assured, there are many clinics and possibilities for testing.
