This Old Town Vallarta Rental Unit, located in the Los Mango building of Selva Romantica offers tasteful Mexican decoration and a splendid view of the city and Sierra Madre Mountains.
This superb get-a-way is in an exclusive gated community with many mature trees, a Jacuzzi, state-of-the art gym, community palapa, and one of Old Towns largest private infinity pools where you will be able to see and enjoy the famous and fabulous sunsets of Puerto Vallarta, and 24 hour security. Selva Romantica features sweeping views of the city and the Bay of Banderas .
Within two blocks, you will find access to the famous Los Muertos Beach as well as night clubs, fine dining restaurants and exclusive galleries within Old Town Puerto Vallarta.
Los Mangos 3 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bathrooms condo that is fully equipped, including air-conditioning, washer and dryer, cable TV, CD and DVD player, I-Pod connection to the stereo system and black-out curtains for the late sleepers and has beautiful terracotta floors throughout the condo.

Puerto Vallarta LifeStyle

Please note that the condo is located in an area of Puerto Vallarta that is busy. During the day, you will be hear buses going by, starting 6 a.m. until 11 p.m. , regular street noise, and during the evening, as you are located in an area of night clubs, you will hear noises from the bars, music, which are opened in some areas until 6 a.m. There are some clubs that are completely closed off, where you cannot hear the sound, however, some bars are not noise proof, and we wanted you to be aware.

The condo is located in the heart of Vibrant Old Town / Zona Romantica. Puerto Vallarta is a bustling city with Old World Mexican charm, and the sights, sounds and flavors that come with that. With ease of access to the beach and the finest galleries, restaurants and nightspotIs. You are just steps away from all the excitement. The condo is located on a city bus route providing ease of access to downtown and the surrounding areas.

Constructions Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming such a popular hot spot that we are now experiencing a more than average increase in Construction Sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more then 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and different parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.



ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 PM. will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 AM. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 PM.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $25.00 USD per day
  • Damage insurance: $ 35.00 USD - Damage insurance non refundable is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $500.00 US Dollars. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

I arranged a pick up at the airport when we arrive and no one was heir to pick us up. I left all my info on the sight for our flight etc. when we got into the condo we had no wifi for three days I spoke to staff and they said they will be here tomorrow or later that day. Finally on day three called the office and Maria took care of it. And had no Sara lite tv. I was greatful for the Apple TV someone let us barrow. Thanks for that. Everything else was great. I have stayed at this property 6 times.

I noted one serious problem and mentioned it to the concierge. If you went onto the patio and closed the sliding doors, the bottom pins on the doors could drop into the hole in the floor, locking you out on the patio.

Other than that, I liked the unit, especially the location near the back gate. Whether to the pool or out on the town, it never seemed like an endless stair or hill climb as with some other units.

Had a great time. Selva Romantica is a beautiful property. Angel was great -- very responsive whenever I had questions and very kindly accompanied me to a pharmacy on my last day when I needed some medication. The unit is nice but could us a little bit of updating. The water dispenser should be changed for something that chills the water and more easily dispenses the water. There were no instructions in the unit for the use of the sound system and information should be provided about what sort of cable is needed to attach an iPhone or other device to play music.

We received exceptional service. Upon our arrival, we mentioned the need to potentially expand our stay by one day, which was easily handled by the PVRPV staff. We highly recommend PVRPV when booking a stay in Puerto Vallarta, and have already done so to several friends, family members and acquaintences.
The common areas of Selva Romantica are probably some of the most well maintained and beautiful in Zona Romantica, which only added to the quality of our stay. The people and staff were incredibly friendly.
The only hiccup incurred during our stay was the timing of our departure. We had mentioned a 3 p.m. flight to which our Concierge Manager mentioned that he would be available at 3 p.m. for check out. Unfortunately, this caused a bit of alarm during our last day resulting in a quick call to the PVRPV office. Fortunately, a staff member was already at our complex and quickly completed our check out and arranged for travel to the airport.
I highly recommend Selva Romantica and PVRPV for anyone searching for accomodations in the Puerto Vallarta area.

This is my third stay at the Selva Romantica complex. I am absolutely in love with this property. I have recommended it many times over to friends and family. I stayed in 2006, in Iguanas in 2009 and then Mangos for 2014. There just isn't a better base camp to explore the city and what spectacular homes to come back to. I am pleasantly surprised that the community continues to make incremental consistent upgrades to the community grounds and buildings. I am never disappointed by the other owners or renters. I feel very welcome and always greeted with pleasantness by others. I can't wait to return and I am very happy to have PVRPV as my source to secure the rental. I hope that this community stays open and friendly to renters and that their prices remain reasonable.

Since this was booked by Pat at TR, most of these do not apply, but I completed the survey. However, they did have a problem with the safe on 2 occasions and PVRPV was right on top of it and the clients were very happy with that. Also, here are some comments of this client who has rented from Tango 6 times in the last few years: "Seriously, we have had a fantastic time. I will write more from home but suffice to say Los Mangos 3 is perhaps my favorite condo to date. I will write a more extensive review when I return home. This is the perfect condo for you guests who want a bit of view, the beauty of Selva, without the climb. More later. Thanks again, Philip

RULES FOR GUESTS

To preserve Selva Romanticas uniquely quiet, nature-friendly, residential oasis feel, the owners have agreed to abide by the following rules. If, for any reason, you are unwilling to abide by these rules, we request that you seek other properties for your stay in Puerto Vallarta.

Acceptance and Compliance with Rules Full compliance with these rules, and those established by individual buildings, is expected not only of all owners, but also their families, guests (whether they are paying for the privilege or not), visitors and employees.

Occupancy
Studios and one-bedroom units shall have no more than four (4) persons (owners and guests) in total in residence at a time. Two-bedroom units shall have no more than six (6) persons (owners and guests) in total in residence at a time. Owners and their guests may entertain a reasonable number of additional guests between 8:00 A.M. and midnight.

General Behavior and Courtesy
Mutual respect and decent and proper language are expected at all times. Orderly, peaceful and lawful behavior is expected at all times. We observe quiet time from 10:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. throughout the common areas, in individual units, and in the laundry facilities. No activity should disturb other owners and guests. Sound equipment volume should not be heard outside of individual condos. Clothes, towels and other items should not be visible from any common areas (on balconies, in windows or in corridors).

Administration and Security Functions and Hours
The office of Selva Romantica is open for business between 8:30 A.M. and 6:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, and between 8:30 P.M. and 3:00 P.M. on Saturday to deal only with owner needs and issues.

The office and security staff is not responsible for greeting guests, providing keys to guests or arranging tourist activities. The owner or the owners property management agency should provide arrangements for these needs. The owner or the owners property management agency shall provide a contact name and 24-hour telephone number to all guests for their use during their entire stay. Guests are requested not to contact Selva Romantica office personnel for assistance except for very serious emergencies involving security or health. Guests with other emergency and informational needs must contact the owner or the owners property management agency. If Selva Romantica office personnel are expected to fulfill these needs, a fee may be charged. Prior to arrival, the names of all guests and their dates of arrival and departure shall be listed with the office staff for use by the security staff. Guests not registered may be denied access to Selva Romantica. All guests must check in with security prior to entering the premises. Management agents escorting guests to Selva Romantica shall not ignore, for any reason, this requirement. Security guards do not have access to individual condominiums and cannot provide keys.

Pool and Gym
Use of the pool and gym is at ones own risk. There are no lifeguards or supervisory personnel on duty. Proper swimwear and exercise wear are expected. Incontinent persons and infants shall wear swim diapers. Suntan lotions and oils need to be removed prior to entering the pool or the gym. There is never any smoking in the pool, hot tub or in the gym.

Smoking is permitted in the large palapa but only with the permission and due consideration of others. Reserving furniture at the pool is not permitted.

Personal items and garbage shall be removed from the pool and gym areas when leaving. Other items left for more than an hour will be removed.

Please do not bring breakable containers, food or beverages of any kind near or in the pool, hot tub or in the gym. Water bottles are permitted in the gym.

Please do not place furniture or use footwear in the pool or hot tub. Please do not remove equipment, furniture or cushions from the pool area or the gym. Due to the small pool size, flotation devices should be of reasonable size. Sound systems of any kind should be able to be heard only by their operator. Guests are not allowed to host any large group or non-guest activities in the pool area.

Safety
Guests shall neither duplicate nor lend keys to anyone. Do not invite strangers into the complex for any reason. Please use precautions to prevent theft of personal and private property. Wiring changes must be approved by the Administration. Do not obstruct, in any way, any of the common areas, stairways or walkways.

Do not bring or store any dangerous and/or flammable materials into any common area or condominium.

Pets
Guests may not have pets on premises. Only owners in residence may have pets.

Garbage
To reduce rodent and insect problems, trash must be taken daily to designated green containers located around the outside perimeter of the property. (The trash cans located near the gym are for the disposal of pool trash only and should not be used to dispose of trash from individual condominiums.)

Enforcement
The Owners Association has authorized the Administration to refuse services or, if needed, to evict any persons who show an unwillingness to abide by these rules while at Selva Romantica. In addition, if the misconduct of guests or visitors is such that the assistance of the Administration or the security staff is needed, fines may be imposed by the Owners Association.
