Constructions Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming such a popular hot spot that we are now experiencing a more than average increase in Construction Sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more then 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and different parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.



ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 PM. will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 AM. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 PM.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $25.00 USD per day
  • Damage Deposit: $ 35.00 — Damage deposit is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $500.00 US Dollars. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

The unit could use a few things. We would suggest sharpening the knives in the kitchen, replacing the bed pillows. The towels are getting frayed and the bathmat is stained terribly. The blinds in the living room do not close and remain in the down position. We poured some pasta water in the sink and the drain pipe came apart causing water to leak all over the floor. This needs to be fixed!
We were very disappointed that we were not offered this unit again for next year before it was rented. We have stayed here in this unit for many years. We were told by some current guests that PVRPV had encouraged them to rent this unit because their usual unit in Amazonas had been sold. Therefore, we had to find alternate accommodations for next year.

As I\'m sure you know, I asked the person checking me in where I could park my car upon arrival. I was told I could park in any of the spots. My car was later towed which resulted in a $474 bill and your company will not take responsibility for it. Extraordinarily bad service on your part.

Casa de Dantes views are picturesque and hearing the evening sounds of romantic puerto Vallarta is a complete delight. You can hear Puerto Vallarta\' heartbeat from the balcony\'s. Also, loved hearing the rooster behind the restaurants on Basilio Badillo @5am
This unit has all the Mexican charm we\'ve come to expect in Puerto Vallarta. Note...The picture in the foyer and bedroom lights up...their beautiful! ( it took us a week to find a switch)
But the kitchen needs a few more coffee cups.

Dante is a nice unit with a well stocked kitchen. There were also lots of towels including for the pool which was nice.
We appreciated having washer/dryer in the unit. We didn\'t watch TV, but TV placement is certainly awkward.

The sink drain in the master bath needs to be cleaned---sink fills and drains very slowly. Window in master bath might benefit from a hook or peg (hole is already there) to keep it from banging in the wind.

We've stayed in Casa de Dante for 4-5 years and we love it. We had some issues this year.
When we arrived, there was a large black plastic bag of dirty laundry in the laundry room. Also, we didn't need the second bedroom for the first 4 days but then we discovered the toilet was not clean and the bed sheets were not clean. We washed the sheets ourself and cleaned the toilet. That's supposed to be a maids job.
We had maid service from Carmel later on and she did an outstanding job.
When we checked in…the shower was leaking. As it got worse and worse, we notified PVRPV and maintenance arrived promptly, but the repair was delayed ….thus we had only one shower. That wasn't a big problem but the maintenance man said the property manger would come and schedule a shower repair with us within 1 hour….and nobody ever showed up.
We love the condo.

The Casa de Dante unit was terrific! It was clean and well maintained. It was spacious and everything worked in the unit. The pictures online were very accurate, and we definitely got our money\'s worth. The location was very convenient to the beach and to the Zona Romantica. PVRPV staff were friendly and helpful. Payment via the web was challenging - I\'d rather pay in full upfront than have payment hassles when trying to pay the second 1/2 payment via your website. Perhaps set up a US based payment system?

Also leave guidance in the unit regarding tips for the maid - there was no printed guidance regarding tipping, getting more water, etc..

Finally, a very small detail but...the unit was great but they do need better plastic glasses for the pool area. The .50 cent cheap ones are not great. Nost of the other units, your competition, have the plastic insulated ones and a few more of them as well.

Ron and I were once again very pleased with PVRPV. We will see you all again next Spring when we return. Just a few comments: Angel - thank you so much for the great service. It\'s a pleasure working with you. Carmen - what a wonderful housekeeper. We enjoyed speaking to her both times she came to the condo. Her personality, warmth and professionalism were much appreciated and it was a pleasure to meet her. Casa De Dante - beautiful views! However, we preferred last year\'s stay in Los Mangos #5 over Casa De Dante, and we will return to Los Mangos next year. The first thing we did upon arrival was to put up a sheet over the side window in the living room. There were no blinds and the midafternoon sun was very, very hot and also created a glare, in addition to the heat. (The sofas were getting very faded from the sun.) This is definitely something that was a deterent. Since it was just the two of us, we closed off the second bedroom because we did not need it (bedroom to the right when you walk in the front door). However, it was a very musty smelling and dark room so we were happy no one was staying in it. Lastly, the bedlinens and towels were not in very good shape. There were small holes in the linens and some of the sheets and towels were very dingy. It would probably be well worth it for the owners of the unit to upgrade these items along with the living room blinds. The linens and the mattress in the second bedroom seemed dirty when I looked. The mattress has what looks like dust and little specks of dirt under the mattress cover (bedbugs???).

Angel and Carmen - thanks again for your professionalism and great service. You guys just add to the reason why Puerto Vallarta is one of our favorite places in the world! See you next year. Andrea and Ron.

RULES FOR GUESTS To preserve Selva Romanticas uniquely quiet, nature-friendly, residential oasis feel, the owners have agreed to abide by the following rules. If, for any reason, you are unwilling to abide by these rules, we request that you seek other properties for your stay in Puerto Vallarta. Acceptance and Compliance with Rules Full compliance with these rules, and those established by individual buildings, is expected not only of all owners, but also their families, guests (whether they are paying for the privilege or not), visitors and employees. Occupancy Studios and one-bedroom units shall have no more than four (4) persons (owners and guests) in total in residence at a time. Two-bedroom units shall have no more than six (6) persons (owners and guests) in total in residence at a time. Owners and their guests may entertain a reasonable number of additional guests between 8:00 A.M. and midnight. General Behavior and Courtesy Mutual respect and decent and proper language are expected at all times. Orderly, peaceful and lawful behavior is expected at all times. We observe quiet time from 10:00 P.M. until 8:00 A.M. throughout the common areas, in individual units, and in the laundry facilities. No activity should disturb other owners and guests. Sound equipment volume should not be heard outside of individual condos. Clothes, towels and other items should not be visible from any common areas (on balconies, in windows or in corridors). Administration and Security Functions and Hours The office of Selva Romantica is open for business between 8:30 A.M. and 6:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, and between 8:30 P.M. and 3:00 P.M. on Saturday to deal only with owner needs and issues. The office and security staff is not responsible for greeting guests, providing keys to guests or arranging tourist activities. The owner or the owners property management agency should provide arrangements for these needs. The owner or the owners property management agency shall provide a contact name and 24-hour telephone number to all guests for their use during their entire stay. Guests are requested not to contact Selva Romantica office personnel for assistance except for very serious emergencies involving security or health. Guests with other emergency and informational needs must contact the owner or the owners property management agency. If Selva Romantica office personnel are expected to fulfill these needs, a fee may be charged. Prior to arrival, the names of all guests and their dates of arrival and departure shall be listed with the office staff for use by the security staff. Guests not registered may be denied access to Selva Romantica. All guests must check in with security prior to entering the premises. Management agents escorting guests to Selva Romantica shall not ignore, for any reason, this requirement. Security guards do not have access to individual condominiums and cannot provide keys. Pool and Gym Use of the pool and gym is at ones own risk. There are no lifeguards or supervisory personnel on duty. Proper swimwear and exercise wear are expected. Incontinent persons and infants shall wear swim diapers. Suntan lotions and oils need to be removed prior to entering the pool or the gym. There is never any smoking in the pool, hot tub or in the gym. Smoking is permitted in the large palapa but only with the permission and due consideration of others. Reserving furniture at the pool is not permitted. Personal items and garbage shall be removed from the pool and gym areas when leaving. Other items left for more than an hour will be removed. Please do not bring breakable containers, food or beverages of any kind near or in the pool, hot tub or in the gym. Water bottles are permitted in the gym. Please do not place furniture or use footwear in the pool or hot tub. Please do not remove equipment, furniture or cushions from the pool area or the gym. Due to the small pool size, flotation devices should be of reasonable size. Sound systems of any kind should be able to be heard only by their operator. Guests are not allowed to host any large group or non-guest activities in the pool area. Safety Guests shall neither duplicate nor lend keys to anyone. Do not invite strangers into the complex for any reason. Please use precautions to prevent theft of personal and private property. Wiring changes must be approved by the Administration. Do not obstruct, in any way, any of the common areas, stairways or walkways. Do not bring or store any dangerous and/or flammable materials into any common area or condominium. Pets Guests may not have pets on premises. Only owners in residence may have pets. Garbage To reduce rodent and insect problems, trash must be taken daily to designated green containers located around the outside perimeter of the property. (The trash cans located near the gym are for the disposal of pool trash only and should not be used to dispose of trash from individual condominiums.) Enforcement The Owners Association has authorized the Administration to refuse services or, if needed, to evict any persons who show an unwillingness to abide by these rules while at Selva Romantica. In addition, if the misconduct of guests or visitors is such that the assistance of the Administration or the security staff is needed, fines may be imposed by the Owners Association.

ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS

Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 p.m., will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 a.m. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 p.m.
