Good afternoon-
We have been using PVRPV since 2015. We have always had great service. However, this time it wasn't the best after we arrived at our condo at One Beach Street. Tania did greet us and provided her contact information and the wifi password. However, Tania didn't know when the housekeeper would clean our units and told me I needed to check with the front desk. Which was fine. I checked with the front desk and was given Tuesday and Friday for housekeeping. After the housekeeping came Saturday and Sunday I contacted Tania via text message. Tania stated the dates would be Tuesday and Friday. The housekeeper came again on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesday we had to contact Tania via text message again because the A/C was very loud. I didn't hear back from Tania so I called her. Tania stated she was working on it and she would call me back. Tania never called back so I called PVRPV who sent someone to fix the A/C. Our shower door didnt close and water would flood the bathroom floor when taking a shower. The elevator at One Beach Street was having issues. The elevator doors would open halfway and then try to close when you tried to enter or exit the elevator. This went on until Thursday when we got stuck in the elevator. The phone button in the elevator didn't work so I had to hold the alarm button until a One Beach Street employee finally came and asked us to hold on. I understand this was escalated to the One Beach Management. However, their response was not true to PVRPV. The power never went out. The lights were on in the elevator and the buttons would light-up. Our friends staying in another condo at One Beach Street was watching TV and said the TV never went out. The elevator is a hazard to anyone staying at One Beach Street especially if they are not able to walk up/down stairs. On our checkout day, Tania never showed up to our condo or our friend's condo at 10am as she stated she would.

We have stayed at One Beach Street 3 times in different condos and our friends 6+ times in the Aurora Del Sol Penthouse. It seems the owners at One Beach Street is not keeping up the condos or the building. This is very disappointing since the location is perfect.

I hope this feedback helps,

Scott Bailey

Buenas tardes.

Thanks for taking the time to complete the survey for your stay at One Beach Street Vallarta 600A. We will share your comments with the staff involved in your vacation and the owner and their property manager. We will speak with Tania to see what happen. The problem with this building, is we do not manage and everything is their responsibility of the front desk and management. Maybe we should be removing these units from our website. We look forward in seeing you again soon in Puerto Vallarta. Your Vacation Experts.

No one met me on my arrival. I had to correct the room number. I reserved 600 and they had prepared 606, which was not an ocean view. I then had to return to reception two more times for various issues, one of which was that there was no electricity in the room. It seemed I was not expected. I\'ve been staying at this location for 15 years since it was Playa del Sol, but I think it may be time to change. The bed is uncomfortable, the aircon is noisy, and check-in was needlessly difficult.

PVRPV staff and building staff are outstanding. Rental process could not be easier. Only issue with the building is that it needs a little TLC on the outside, but that seems to be an on-going situation with the building management/association. The unit itself is fine...AC works great! Condo could use a decorating update, but that is not important to me. The location, the staff, and the AC all make this a great place. I\'ve rented same unit for 5 years in a row...look forward to coming back again next year. Thank you.

Light fell out of the ceiling which I walked into. Didn\'t like the recessed balcony. Couldn\'t see the pier. Bed to small and unit looked outdated.
Thanks

I was very happy overall. Extremely important for this time of year: the air conditioning cooled the entire apartment well. Friends who were also visiting complained that their apartment (next building, same floor) could not be cooled sufficiently with the two bedroom air conditioning units. A couple of suggestions: provide coffee filters for the coffee maker, provide a corkscrew, provide sufficient bottled water for two persons for a single 24 hour period.

Front Door card key and reader was not working very well. Required security/maintenance to open the door on more than one occasion. They did respond promptly each time, but it got to be inconvenient. Fountain in the courtyard still does not work...not a problem, just aesthetics. Location of the property is unbeatable. PVRPV staff and One Beach Street staff were outstanding.

The condo was in a great location. However, when arriving we did not have bottle water in the unit. We had to call to have the water brought up. No one gave us a tour or explained where things were. The check-in process was quick at the service desk. We also didnt have wash clothes which we had to call to get them and then the maid took them and didnt not give us replacements so we had to call to get more wash clothes. Even though we did not bring any food into the unit, we had bugs crawling in the kitchen which we had to tend to daily. There wasn\'t a channel guide for the TV and the phone information to call others in the condo was in the bedroom and the phone was in the kitchen. We had friends who stayed in a different unit had a difference experience with the available amenities they had plenty of water, wash clothes, paper towels, dish soap and etc. However, they also had maid service issues.

Recommendations: Have the basic amenities for guests such as dish soap, paper towels, wash cloths, bottle water, TV channel list and proper maid service.

Thanks-
Scott

I\'ve stayed at One Beach Street several times. Each year it seems as if the maintenance of the building slips. The fountain in the courtyard hasn\'t worked for as long as I can remember. And this year in the unused, gated-entryway on the north side of the building, on the sidewalk up the hill leading to Amapas was loaded with debris. Very uninviting.

Inside security cameras

When cameras move inside, things get a little more complicated. Again, cameras are only allowed in areas where one does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy. Thus, store security cameras used to prevent shoplifting are generally okay. But, what happens when the camera is situated someplace where one expects privacy but that is also an ideal location for one to conceal store merchandise?

Similarly, other areas like rented rooms, hotel rooms, and locker rooms are generally off limits for security cameras. Again, the expectation in these places are for complete privacy, and one should feel comfortable undressing in these locations without having to worry about someone watching or broadcasting the footage.
