PVRPV Puerto Vallarta Vacations presents Condo Playa Bonita 601 a beachfront condo right on Los Muertos Beach in the friendly vacation resort of Playa Bonita, ideally located in the heart of Old Town on Puerto Vallarta's Romantic Zone.
The Playa Bonita complex has 24 hour security, a beautiful in ground pool, lounging chairs, table and chairs inside the gated community as well as beach chairs and palapas available for Playa Bonita registered guests directly on the beach. Explore the city with all its wonderful shops & galleries with restaurants and exciting nightlife, all within walking distance of Playa Bonita.
Condo Playa Bonita 601 vacation location of Puerto Vallarta is a 1615 sq. ft. ocean front condo located on the 6st floor of the building which features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The kitchen which is completely equipped has granite countertops, stainless steel oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and toaster oven, coffee maker, and blender. You will also find wireless internet, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and a washer and dryer and a library of books in the hall entrance for those who like to read.
In the dining room you will find seating for 6 people and then the living room which has a ceiling fan, sofa with chairs where you can chat with family and friends and an additional area with a sofa, television with cable and DVD player and a work desk. Step out onto the full length terrace overlooking the Bay of Banderas and enjoy your morning coffee or simply view the world famous Puerto Vallarta Sunsets. The open floor plan and the extra wide balcony create a seamless connection between the condo, the sky, and the sea all while nicely located in the romantic heart of Old Vallarta. The living room area includes two pull out sofas, where two additional guests can sleep.
The master bedroom includes a king size bed, closet, ceiling fan, air conditioning, alarm clock and private bathroom.

NOTE: The property is located directly on the beach and normal beach noise and activities are associated with properties on the beach. Unit is also next to a gay hotel with entertainment at night until no later than 11:30pm. All customers must wear the Playa Bonita arm bands which is part of the New Condo Regulations.

Constructions Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming such a popular hot spot that we are now experiencing a more than average increase in Construction Sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more then 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and different parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.



ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 PM. will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 AM. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 PM.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $25.00 USD per day
  • Damage Deposit: $ 35.00 — Damage deposit is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $500.00 US Dollars. For additional information please refer to our Vacation Service Reservation Policy and Agreement.

The shower floor drain problem was very inconvenient The response was fast but it took 3 days to get the job done. 3 days sharing a shower was not a good thing specially when having 2 bathrooms in the unit was one of the features that attracted me.

I really feel this is an exceptional value and any minor problems were attempted to be resolved quickly. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Members of my party are deaf and we tried to get English closed captioning on the TV as we did the previous year. We could only receive Spanish closed captioning. The staff tried to resolve but could not. They believed it was the TV company, even though the previous year it was fine. But that really was a minor inconvenience. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and pleased. Thank you.

Condo is very authentic and a favorite stay for my group and myself when visiting. PVRPV Staff greeted us promptly at the condo when we arrived which was very nice and assisted with our luggage. It was nice to have a cold water in the fridge on arrival. Internet was not working on arrival, however, it was promptly coordinated between PVRPV Staff and the administrator, Alex and up and running same day as arrival until departure. Reception is always mature, professional, and respectful. Thank you to the owner for pricing the unit at a reasonable price during the summer and sharing your home. We did miss the dining table outside on the patio and would love to see a dining table returned for future visits. It\'s very nice to dine outside for 4-5 people on the patio for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This was greatly missed as the view from the patio is magnificent!!!! It would be nice to have a few extra lightbulbs in the unit in case they need to be changed. It would be nice to have a air conditioner in the main area for nighttime sleeping when the condo is accommodating more than 4 people. The only major problem that we encountered was the washing machine, but this is just something that needs to be replaced with a new heavy duty washer or even a front loader for washing towels when it\'s due for replacement. This was not the fault of the condo owner, just a maintenance issue that happened with a light load of towels on the spin cycle. The kitchen could use some additional baking pans (cookie type pan, pizza pan, and pizza cutter) and utensils (spatulas). Thanks for supplying us with basic supplies (shampoo, body wash, toilet paper, laundry detergent, paper towels, and etc.) The condo is very authentic and we look forward to staying again in the future. In both of our stays at unit #601, we had no instructions by the concierge or by an information notebook on site
instructing us on how to operate the air conditioning systems or the TV. We spent an evening trying to watch a
DVD only to find out that there wasn\'t even a cable installed connecting the player to the TV. A \"how to\"
notebook would be very helpful in the future. Staff was wonderful, as usual. Thank you.

The service and grounds were supurb! The Unit 601 continues to be our favorite Unit to stay. We enjoyed the new furniture in and outside the condo. We were very comfortable in it. The new air conditioners worked amazingly as well. We really appreciate the owner keeping the Unit in great condition. We feel at home. Overall positive experience. Omar was very nice & helpful meeting us at condo. Only minor issues/items to mention: 1) the large blue ceramic frog mounted on the master shower wall (connected to rear bedroom, but the smaller of the 2 showers) needs to be moved -- I hit my elbow on it twice, LOL. 2) It would be nice if there was a TV in one of the bedrooms, as the one in the living room was hard to see with the strong sunlight from balcony, even when shades downs. Kitchen was wonderfully equipped! Drawers were hard to open, but asi es la vida. Of course the balcony was superb! **the only issue staying here was the loud music all day during the day from the Blue Chairs and Ritmo Café beach areas. It made it impossible to enjoy the balcony during the day for a nap or to read. I\'m not sure if you as the PVRPV staff have a relationship with those places, but they could turn it down some. We spent most of our time ON the beach in those areas, and it was so loud we couldn\'t have conversation without yelling at each other. I think many on the beach agreed, but no one wanted to say so, thinking they were the only one thinking it was too loud. I\'m only 43, and enjoy partying loud and late, but it was too loud. I left the beach early a couple of days because of it, and noticed many others left earlier than I\'ve noticed in years past...maybe it was the music. I won\'t rent in Playa Bonita again because of it. Maybe in One Beach St if I can get the furthest ocean view from the beach but otherwise, I\'ll go back a block from the beach. The overly loud music really could hurt your business I think -- I don\'t expect it to be silent or turned off, but no need for it to be as loud as it was. Ruined the beach. If PVRPV has a relationship with Blue Chairs or Ritmo, I\'d let them know this could cut into your business, and maybe theirs too.

Noticed that unit is warm. unusually warm. I figured its from the AC unit outside that feed into laundry room. I had to keep the laundry room door shut. but its still unusually warm...warmer than outside. that is the only issue.

Don\'t mean to complain but the pool was dirty and it took 4-5 days to get it cleaned. We did not go into the pool as we were afraid.
There was a constant smell of GAS in our unit as well as when we walked by others. Another visitor on the 1st floor came out to the office and also stated that she smelled gas in her unit.Jose came up to inspect but nothing ever done to correct the GAS leak,

Always good but the unit. The AC units were not cooling the property at all. We called it in once and it improves only moderately. We have used this service many times and will continue. We have always received good service. But I think the units should be inspected more often if they are to be rented.

When we arrived there was food in the fridge from the previous tenant . the following morning we went to make coffee and
the coffee grounds from the previous tenant were there and very moldy. many of the kitchen utensils in the drawers were greasy, had food still on them and moldy. The two lamps in the living room were both broken, one with no plug on the cord and the other the light bulb socket broken and hanging over the lamp, MB lamp not working. Unit very disappointing compared to unit on 402 which I have stayed in. this unit needs upgrade. Old and not appealing. The staff at the front desk continues to be friendly and ready to help. The owner should consider new flooring updating the bathrooms. (no fan in the main bathroom), And adding more kitchen utensils.

Hola , The week was fantastic! As always it was a pleasure to see Angel, and the condo was probably the best as far as the view and the staff. This was my son\'s and his wife\'s first time to Mexico and they did NOT want to leave ! They now know why we love Puerto Vallarta so much. I did have a bit of problem with the guys down on the street trying to sell time shares etc.(every time we tried to get to the condo) But finally after the 3rd day I had a serious talk with one of the guys and it stopped. We really enjoyed our stay at Playa Bonita. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Playa Bonita is a great location and while it was not my first time to stay there, it was for Tom, Craig and Tony. We had friends that also stayed in 301 and 403, and I have to say that 601 has the best view, and lots of space. Unfortunately the place could really use some updating compared the the units our friends rented. 601 is a great floor plan with expansive views, updating the place could make it spectacular.

The condo and staff are all wonderful. We so enjoy our time here and booked again next year. One note that I am sure the owner is aware of, but just in case not, there are tiny mites or termite like critters eating the wood furniture. Each morning there is saw dust under the table and chairs, lots of it that we swept up each morning outside of the work the maid did twice a week. Just thought I\'d say something but that aside, we sure enjoyed the condo. We had some air conditioner issues the first few days we were there, but the owner and staff were wonderful and worked at it until it was fixed. Thanks much!

The PVRPV agent met us promptly upon arrival but did not show us how to operate any of the equipment, including the a/c, the internet, the washer/dryer, the lock on the slider deck doors. Between the four of us, we figured out the operating systems but it would be very helpful if the agent went over operations with future guests.

They are not able to change dates based on arrivals and departures. So for this unit the cleaning days are Monday and Thursday only. I understand and appreciate the need for security but we were required to show name cards on every entry, even though staff could address us by name. In addition, we had several people visit and we were told that the guests could not be in the common area though there were few or now people using the pool. In addition, we asked about water jug refills and were told we would need to come get the water ourselves. Overall, we enjoyed the stay but these are improvements that would make for a more enjoyable experience.

The unit was clean upon my arrival, but I only had maid service on the Thursday of my stay. There was no maid service on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

I loved the condo and had a wonderful time. While it was a great location for the beach, next year I would like something on the beach but maybe closer to the pier or emiliano zapano or malecon.

Angel was fantastic and very helpful. There was an issue in 601 that we didn\'t mind that much - as soon as we arrived, we realized there were many ants in the kitchen area. We had to constantly check the kitchen to get rid of the ants. Future renters of this unit might have a big issue with this, so you should look into this.

EVerything went quite well. We arrived to the condo so early that no one from PVPVR was there to meet us, but since the concierge let us in, it didn\'t matter at all, and the PVPVR person arrived shortly thereafter. We had problems with our internet, but didn\'t realize that we should have called PVPVR or the concierge to get it fixed, so we never had the chance to see if PVPVR would have responded quickly (question 4).

This unit was great and location could not have been better. We already started spreading the world and you can expect some business from friends of ours soon. Some minor mprovements to the property would include putting a second long chair on the balcony (we were fighting to get the one which is there ;) and changing the shower head in the largest bathroom. This is my third year renting from PVRPV and staying at the Playa Bonita. Love the location and the ease with working with PVRPV. As usual the PVRPV staff was outstanding. They were there for arrival and when requested for checkout.

The 601 unit is showing its age, but then again it was less expensive than some of the other units. The washer was in need of repair or replacement and many of the light bulbs were burned out. One of the bedroom night stand lights sparked when turned on. I reported this to the desk the first day and was told someone would be up to look at it but that never happened. The sofas were also dirty.

Plan to rent again with PVRPV next year.

I just wanted to say thanks for an amazing holiday rental. The place was great and we had such a great time there. I was nice to have a unit that I was able to invite friends over for dinner and drinks with no problems.
The only thing I can say was I know there were new mattress put into the condo but the bed in the master room was 2 mattress put together which was very uncomfortable as you had a huge crease in the bed. The bed in the second bedroom was much more comfortable. I suggest changing this for the future. When you spend that kind of money I would have expected a much more comfortable bed. As well the internet went down on the last night and the guy came to fix it but was unable to unfortunately. Other then that I will be sure to book again with you and would not hesitate renting the same unit again as we loved the location and the size of the unit itself.

And Playa Bonita expects all people to be accepting of our policies.

WELCOME
Welcome to Playa Bonita Condominio we hope you enjoy your stay. Please remember Playa Bonita is not a hotel it is a private condo and therefore procedures, service, and amenities are somewhat different. The difference is why the owners and their guests enjoy this building and its location. Hopefully you will understand and come to appreciate Playa Bonita for its uniqueness and convenience. Playa Bonita feels we are welcoming you into our home. At Playa Bonita, we provide 24/7 security and require Playa Bonita identification to enter the building because security and serenity for owners and their guests are important. Remember, registered guests staying at Playa Bonita are not allowed to have their visitors use the beach palapas and chairs, the lobby restrooms, the swimming pool, and poolside cabana.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Check in time is 3:00 PM. Check out time is 12:000 Noon. If your condo is not ready when you arrive or if you have a late departure, you may leave your bags in the lobby. Just ask at the front desk. While you wait we suggest you might take a walk, shop, or have lunch or breakfast until your condo is ready or it is time to leave for the airport. The lobby restrooms are available for your use.

REGISTRATION
Upon arrival, each person staying in the unit must register at the Administration Desk to officially become a guest of Playa Bonita. Only those people on the registration name list provided to Playa Bonita will be allowed to register. Each person registered will be provided with a security arm band/ankle band or a photo Playa Bonita Identification card. If you choose the band, it will be attached at time of check in and worn until you check out. It must be worn when using the common areas and when entering and exiting the building. If you choose the photo identification card, completed at the time of check in, the photo ID must be in your possession at all times to show when using the common areas and when entering and exiting the building. Common areas include hallways, lobby, swimming pool and cabana, beach palapas, and lobby restrooms. The replacement cost of a wrist band or a photo identification card is fifty Pesos. At the end of your stay please return your photo identification cards and bands to the front desk. For security reasons, we ask that you leave the condo keys at the front desk each time you leave the building and pick them up each time you return.

PROBLEMS WITH YOUR CONDO
Each individual condo is the condo owner’s responsibility. If you have problems with plumbing, backed up toilets, appliances, supplies, etc, contact your accommodations’ arranger, its property manager, or owner. The building administration and front desk staff cannot help you with problems in the condo.

VISITOR ACCESS
Guests may not have visitors in the common areas only in the condo. If you bring visitors to the condo, they must sign in and out at the Administration Desk. If the visitor is not with you, they must be announced by phone and then sign in and out at the Administration Desk. It is always a good idea to go to the lobby and meet your visitors so they know where to go and even a better idea to escort your visitors to the lobby door when they depart.

POOL CABANA AND SWIMMING POOL
Pool and cabana hours are from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The use of the pool cabana and swimming pool is strictly restricted to owners and registered guests. Please show proper registration identification each time you use this area. Registered guests may not have visitors in the pool cabana and swimming pool. Remember: Public nudity is against the law in Mexico. Chairs and lounges may not be reserved prior to 11:00 AM. Chairs and lounges are reserved by placing towels on needed chairs. When such chairs are reserved a guest must be present during those periods. You may not just leave your towels and disappear. The staff is instructed to remove any towels and personal items that are left unattended.

1. Personal music and Public Displays of Affection should not disrupt others.
2. No glass bottles or glass drinking glasses - plastic only.
3. Unsupervised children are not allowed. Infants must wear plastic protectors.
4. There is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk.
5. Use a towel while sitting or lying on chairs.
6. When leaving, please dry off thoroughly before entering the lobby and elevator.
7. Proper bathing attire is expected. Public nudity is against the law in Mexico.

BEACH AND PALAPAS
The use of the beach chairs, tables, and palapas is strictly restricted to owners and registered guests. Please make yourself known to the beach attendant by introducing yourself and showing proper registration identification each time you use the beach palapas. Registered guests may not have visitors use the beach palapas and chairs. The beach attendant’s responsibility does not include theft patrol. Therefore use your good judgment and protect your valuables. The best advice - leave your valuables and passports in the condo. Remember: Public nudity is against the law in Mexico. Beach chairs and palapas may not be reserved prior to 11:00 AM. Chairs are reserved by placing towels on needed chairs. When such chairs are reserved a guest must be present during those periods. You may not just leave your towels and disappear. The staff is instructed to remove any towels and personal items that are left unattended.
Beach chairs and tables from beach restaurants are not allowed on Playa Bonita’s beach. Help keep our beach clean by disposing of your trash and cigarette butts in the container provided near the beach stairway. Use a towel while using the chairs. When returning from the beach or returning to use the lobby restrooms, shower off sand in the shower outside the main lobby entrance. Ask the Reception Desk to turn on the outside water if necessary. Please dry thoroughly before entering the lobby area and elevator. The chairs and tables are removed daily at 5:00 PM. Should you wish to stay longer on the beach, inform the beach attendant and then it is your responsibility to return the chairs and tables to the building.


MAID SERVICE
Maid services are provided two times a week. Check with the front desk as to exact time and day for your unit. It is preferred that you are not in the unit during maid services. It usually takes 2 to 3 hours which includes bathroom cleaning, trash emptied, furniture dusted, table tops cleaned, floors swept and mopped, and the kitchen area cleaned including stovetops. Maids are not responsible to wash dirty dishes or clean up cooking remains. The laundry room is for the convenience of guests and the maid staff is not required to perform laundry services. The staff can make up beds on the days they are scheduled. They may put new bed linens on the beds if clean bedding is put out. The staff is not responsible for washing or drying bed linens and towels. Anything additional can usually be accommodated if you ask and leave an additional tip. Recommended tipping for Maid Staff is 50 to 60 pesos each time the maid cleans. Perhaps an additional tip if there are numerous guests. Leave the appropriate amount on the dining table or kitchen counter each time she cleans and again the day of departure.

TELEPHONE
There are two phone systems. The HOUSE PHONE which connects you to the front desk - enter zero and to call other units in the building - enter the unit number. And the LAND LINE which is for local calls. Not all units have a land line. The condo building front desk phone number: 222-3270 local calls and 011-52-32-222-3270 from the US.

DRINKING WATER FOR PLAYA BONITA
Puerto Vallarta’s water purification system has been certified safe by International standards since 1992. Condominos Playa Bonita has its water tested twice each year and each time it has be rated potable. Check the Lobby Bulletin Board for the most recent test. However the filtration system does eliminate the bacteria. The bacteria level does change due to rain and environmental drainage. When in doubt purchase bottled water. For large bottled water, check with the front desk. The little store just down the street to the south carries groceries and does Amapas Mercado behind Playa Bonita.

TIPPING
Tipping for the reception and maid staff is an expected custom throughout Mexico and our staff depends upon this additional income. Recommended tipping for reception staff should be dependent upon any special services they have provided during your visit – tour services arranged, taxi, telephone calls made on your behalf, reservations, baggage, directions, grocery delivery, etc. Tips should be given directly to the person who assisted you. If they are not here when you leave, it is customary to place the tip in an envelope with their name and leave it at the front desk.

NEIGHBORHOOD NOISE
Remember Playa Bonita is located on the beach and in an urban area, so street noise from construction, deliveries, traffic, sirens, alarms, surf, dogs, and music from restaurants and beach performers is inevitable. However, if you are disturbed by unusually loud music or noise from adjacent businesses, and condo buildings, or from another Playa Bonita condo please notify the front desk so an official complaint can be made.
REMINDERS

1. No animals are permitted in the building including the lobby.
2. Loud talking on the balcony is not allowed at anytime. There should be no talking what so ever after 10:00 at night and before 9:00 in the morning. Even the most private of conversations can be heard in adjacent units. If you look to the left or right and up or down from the balcony, you will notice you are only two feet away from a bedroom window. Some people retire early while others sleep late. Please be considerate of all our owners and guests.
3. Removal or borrowing of any common area property (pool chairs) is not allowed.
4. Deposit trash and garbage outside in building garbage cans adjacent to the main lobby entrance.
5. No towels or clothes are permitted on the balconies or hallways.
6. Think carefully when using the balconies and the roof top pools and sun decks as well as the closing of curtains and doors. Public nudity in Mexico is illegal even in your own home if seen by others. Don’t spend your vacation in jail.
7. Close the door to your condo – quietly. Keep talking to a minimum when using hallways and entering your condo.
8. Parties after 10:00 PM are not allowed. Building Administration must be notified of all parties consisting of more than 10 people. Maximum number of people for a party is 15 which includes registered guests and visitors.
9. Music must be a low volume heard only within your condo.
10. Smoking is only allowed in one common area and that is the pool area.
Please use a plastic ash tray. No smoking in the lobby, elevator,
stairways, and rear hallways on each floor. Each condo has its own
smoking policies. Please follow them.
11. As per our Condominio Bylaws failure to comply with the
Administration of the building and its policies will result in your eviction
from the condo.
12. Remember the staff does not make the policies. They are only doing
their job when they remind you of the policies. Please be kind. Yelling
and insulting the staff doesn’t solve anything.
