About Dream Condo - Amapas 353

PVRPV Puerto Vallarta your vacation experts present Dream Condo at Amapas 353. The Dream Condo at 353 Amapas which is one of Puerto Vallarta's newest studios. This contemporary, fourth floor unit is in a new condominium that has a spectacular ocean view of Banderas Bay—third largest in Mexico. You can even hear the waves breaking on the beach in the studio! —second largest in the world. You can even hear the waves breaking from it!

It is ideally located in one of the most desirable and safest neighborhoods on the south side of Puerto Vallarta that is known as Old Town which is part of the Romantic Zone. Getting around Puerto Vallarta is very easy. You can walk everywhere you may want to go except for a supermarket, Walmart or a cinema. There is also a taxi stand within a couple minute walk from the building. Access to public transportation is just outside of the main entrance. Both modes of transportation are inexpensive

The condominium is just a flight of stairs from the world-famous Los Muertos Beach in the area behind the well-known Blue Chairs resort. It is very convenient to local restaurants, bars and boutiques.

The studio is filled with high-end finishes such as custom-made parota furniture and indirect lighting. There is a very large balcony with a complete set of rattan furniture including a screen which protects you privacy—perfect for dining and entertaining. The windows running the full length of the balcony are equipped with blackout roller shades.

The king size bed has 600-thread count Egyptian cotton sheets for extra comfort. There are also beach towels.

There is a smart 3D television that is connected to high-speed Internet for video streaming via Android device of many channels including most US and Canadian networks. Netflix, Amazon Prime, an all-region Blue Ray DVD, Wii, and Echo as well as Sonos wireless voice/sound systems are also available which can be controlled by a cell phone, pad or laptop. All of the above are housed in a dresser that also serves as a room divider. It also contains a leaf that pulls out which can be used as a work space and/or a dining area.

The beautiful kitchen has a granite countertop, a double stainless sink, and all the small appliances are Cuisinart.

Both the toilet and shower are in separate glass enclosures and the bathroom entrance has a folding door for privacy. The shower has a marble bench as well as a marble surround and the cabinet around the sink has a marble surface. All fixtures in the kitchen and bathroom are Moen.

This condo has an ensuite digital combination safe that can accommodate up to a 13” laptop and other valuables as well as a peep hole in the entrance door. The studio is equipped with a hard-wired smoke/fire alarm, carbon monoxide/natural gas detector and a fire extinguisher. There is also bottled water for guests to drink and cook with.

The condominium complex has a fitness center, infinity pool, Jacuzzi, a professional stainless steel BBQ; and Wi-Fi on the roof garden which has an excellent view of the surroundings.

This complex is very safe and is equipped with an entry intercom as well as security cameras at both the Amapas and Highway 200 entrances. The side of the condo balcony that abuts another one is protected by a privacy/security barrier. There is also an Administrator as well as a maintenance person on site.

One cleaning per week is included in the rental rates.

This vacation property has a no smoking (except on the roof), no pets and no children policy.

Guests are subject to condominium rules.

PLEASE NOTE:
Please be advised that the ocean views opposite the studio and to the north have changed somewhat from what is pictured on the listing. The wrought iron railings between the posts on the building’s roof have been removed. Concrete walls between these posts are now under construction. Their height is the same as the railings were. While there is virtually no change in the ocean view when standing on the balcony, it’s reduced when sitting either on the balcony or in the studio. Part of the ocean view to the left of the New Pier (the tepee-like structure in the pictures) is now blocked by a new condo being built. There is virtually no change of the ocean view when the free-standing privacy barrier is in place. Most guests make use of it. New photographs reflecting the above changes will be taken and listed as soon as possible. Nov.13,2017

Constructions Notice

Puerto Vallarta is fast becoming such a popular hot spot that we are now experiencing a more than average increase in Construction Sites in the Romantic Zone. There are more then 14 new construction sites happening around the zone, as of 2017, for the next 2 years. The construction normally happens Monday to Saturday between working hours, but there is no guarantee. The construction will cause noise and dust. Since there are so many different new buildings, it is hard to get away from it during the day. We encourage our guests to visit the different beaches and different parts in and around Puerto Vallarta during the day. For more suggestions contact our Concierge department.

ADDITIONAL FEE FOR CLIENTS ARRIVING BEFORE AND AFTER REGULAR WORKING HOURS
Please be advised that if you are driving or flying to Puerto Vallarta, you must ensure that you plan your travels well and expect to arrive at the rented property no later than 8 PM. on any given day. Clients who arrive after 8 PM. will incur an additional charge of $25.00 USD I.V.A Included which must be paid in cash. This will be collected upon check in. In addition, there is no check in time before 8 AM. on any given day, otherwise, the same additional fee of $25.00 USD cash applies. Most of the properties allow a check in time of 3 PM.

Important notes:

  • Cleaning Services: The services included is based on a minimum rental of 7 days. In case your rental is less than this or require additional services the cost will be $25.00 USD per day
  • Damage Deposit: $ 35.00 — Damage deposit is now mandatory for all clients. The deposit provides coverage to travelers in the event that damages occur during your stay. It also protects you from having to pay additional costs if any accidental damages happens during your stay to a property of up to $500.00 US Dollars. Overall good enough. However, the maid began cleaning BEFORE we were even packed. Also, repeated requests for more water were never fulfilled. Several other lose ends were noticed. Assume these were a result of a busy Holiday season. Staff has always been excellent in the past but seemed a bit frazzled, understaffed this time. Unusual for PVRPV...you have never missed a beat previously..during our past ten years of using you. Has something changed?

Despite the other guests comments about the safe in the unit, it continues to remain inoperable. When I arrived at the property, there was no PVRPV agent to greet me. To add to the confusion, there are two operate entrances to the property with no clear indicator in the reservations on which entrance to use. I was unable to enjoy the terrace and was forced to keep the doors to the unit closed as there are multiple construction projects going on in the immediate area. The stairwells are dark and it is easy to trip even in the daytime hours. There was no housekeeping during my 11 day stay bu it was clean upon my arrival.

Overall, the condo unit itself was very nice and well equipped. I especially appreciated the phone as it became necessary to contact my workplace several times during my stay. I don\'t think I will return to this particular building until the construction is completed.

Please note that the maid service was excellent but the room was a little dirty upon arrival. (The floors felt like it had not been clear in a while, some dust and dirt around the unit. But overall good)
I want to note a potential hazard in the unit wash and dryer area, there is a slight incline when you open the doors, not very noticeable and I tripped into the closet twice.. You might want to some how highlight that incline. Otherwise my stay was great and I would consider staying again. Thank you PVRPV.

The Dream Condo was wonderful. The only issue was that the safe provided was unreliable. Sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didn\'t . Had the property manager over a few times, and despite his best efforts, he couldn\'t get it to work. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Angel was really terrific, prompt and very helpful. We\'ll be back again.

With any new building/property you will experience some nuances, the best part is how they are handled by the management/rental companies. We were excited to find, book, and stay at the Dream Condo. The unit was as described on the website. Despite the couple of issues we had during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed the unit, property ammenities, and location. We were also excited to be the inagural renters. The TV, wifi, local phone, along with the option to watch a blue ray or use the Wii were great ammenity options. Having a very well stocked kitchen, coffee pot, and other appliances came were well appreciated as we were there for a week total. It was very enjoyable sitting on the patio lounger and table in the mornings enjoying our coffee and screwdrivers. The washer and dryer in the unit was also a great option, as we were able to pack less clothes and bring carryons as opposed to paying for the extra bags with the airlines. A couple of recomendations for the unit would be to provide plastic cups that can be taken and used around the pool area upstairs. Providing beach towels in your unit may also be an added plus for future renters of your unit. Overall very pleased and looking forward to renting the unit again.

Hello, this was the second time this year staying at Dream Condo Amapas 353. Overall this was a much better experience as opposed to the first time. Although the safe was still not working it was not a big issue. We were disappointed that the base of the water dispenser was broken and not available for use, therefore we had to carefully tip the big water jug to dispense water. Suggestions for the owner or management company. This trip we were provided instructions on using the Sonos for music. Although we didnt watch much tv, it would be great to have an idea of some of the english stations or music stations. I love that you offer an option for Blue Ray/Wii. It would also be nice to have wash cloths in the unit and perhaps offer a couple of beach towels for guest to use if needed. We always bring our own, just thinking of what would make your it convenent for any other renters. We love the location, views, convenient location to beach and town. Having the well stocked kitchen, appliances, utensils really make it convenient if we want to cook. One other recomendation is to perhaps offer pool friendly drink ware for when going to the pool. This trip we brought our own disposable solo cups. We look forward to perhaps staying here again in our annual trip next May.
