A GUIDE TO VISITORS AND RENTERS
Welcome to Green Bay Condominiums. We hope you enjoy your stay. Green Bay is a private residence and, above all else, we ask that you respect that fact and show consideration for all residents so that they may enjoy the peace and tranquility of their home undisturbed.
We ask that you PLEASE READ IMMEDIATELY and follow the rules and guidelines set out below:
1. Registration: Upon your arrival, please register your party with the administrator. The office is the first door on the right immediately inside the main entranceway. There you may collect the key to your unit and get orientated to the facilities. Office hours are 9:00am – 6:00pm. Monday until Friday and Saturday 10:00 am until 1:30 pm. Should you arrive after hours, we ask that you please register first thing in the morning before starting your day.
2. Parking: If you have a rental vehicle, be sure to give the make, model and license number to the administrator and ask where to park it. Be considerate when parking and ensure that you only take up one spot.
3. Bulletin Board: The bulletin board is located in the main lobby and will provide you with useful and helpful telephone numbers, taxi, medical doctor, etc.
4. Shopping and Luggage Carts: Carts are located at the elevators and stairwells for the convenience of all. Please be considerate of others and return the carts to their original stations immediately following use. Others may arrive with parcels shortly after you and should not have to search for a cart.
5. Water: Water is supplied by Paradise Village and is very high in minerals that create deposits on outlets such as faucets and toilet works. Please ensure that taps are shut off completely and that toilets are not running before leaving bathrooms and premises as water here is very expensive. Our sewage system is not designed to take foreign materials other than human waste and waste water. PLEASE, DO NOT DISPOSE OF CONDOMS, SANITARY PADS OR ANY OTHER PAPER OR DEBRIS BESIDES TOILET PAPER THROUGH THE TOILET! Place these items in your garbage.
6. Garbage Collection: Garbage is collected from in front of each unit door between 9:00am and 10:00am every morning except Sunday. Please ensure that your garbage is properly sealed in a black plastic bag and positioned in time for pick-up. If you miss pick-up, please ask the administrator to show you where the central collection point is located and take it there yourself. DO NOT leave your unit’s garbage outside your door after 10:00am, OR in the stairwells, OR in the ashtray/garbage receptacles adjacent to the elevators or pool.
7. Pool: The swimming pool is unsupervised. Therefore, use is at one’s own risk with no liability or responsibility appertaining to the owners and staff of the Green Bay Condominium Association either jointly or severally. Please follow the rules set out below:
• Shower before entering the pool at all times. The shower is behind the palapa shelter.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• No running on the pool periphery.
• No diving as the pool is shallow.
• Please be sure to dry yourselves completely before re-entering the building and using stairways and elevators.
• Food and drink are not permitted in and around the pool area except at the north end on the expanded apron and at the covered table by the barbecue. No glass is permitted in the restricted areas.
• A garbage receptacle is located next to the barbecue for your convenience. Please do not litter!
• If you wish to use the barbecue, please advise the administrator in advance and obtain the key. Be sure to clean the grill after use in consideration of others and remove all signs of your meal.
• If you wish to have a pool party, please follow all of the above rules. Start in late afternoon and vacate the pool area no later than 9:30pm in order not to disturb other residents. There will be no warnings. Violators will be asked to leave the premises the following morning and find alternative accommodation. Please return the key to the administrator the following morning.
8. Golf Course Property: The Green Bay property ends just beyond the pool area and before the cart path. Paradise Village (El Tigre) restricts the use of the golf course property and the cart path to golfers in play only. Walking, cycling and walking of pets in those areas is strictly forbidden on a 24 hour basis and we ask that you comply with these regulations.
Once again, we ask that you respect the fact that Green Bay is a private residence and that you do not disturb the residents in any way and, in particular, in the outside corridors, either before 8:30am or after 10:30pm. Enjoy your stay.
