Casa Chiminea is in the heart of Puerto Vallarta. Right above the signature Guadalupe Cathedral and the beautiful tower accents all the views of the Bay. The neighborhood is known as Gringo Gulch, the house is located in from of wher Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor began their love affair and had their homes and now its a boutique hotel.

Richard and Liz lived around the corner from Casa Chiminea while he was filming "Night of the Iguana" and the house is of that era. It is a charming old-style villa. It even has original Manuel Lepe paintings on the walls. It is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and has beautiful views of the Bay and Guadalupe Cathedral tower. It has two livingrooms and two kitchens and would nicely accommodate two parties in their own separate spaces on each floor (There is a door that can be locked in between each floor). The top floor has the main kitchen and master bedroom and the second floor has a smaller kitchen and two bedrooms.

It has a large swimming pool. Casa Chiminea means Chimney House and the house does have three working fireplaces. It also has a lovely indoor garden and a garage for a car.

There are two single beds in each room. It comes with a maid and a cook will be provided to cook breakfast and lunches daily (All food and beverage costs and gratuities to the staff are the responsibility of the guests). All the rooms have ceiling fans. There are three televisions, one in each living room of two living rooms and one in the master bedroom. There is air conditioning in the master bedroom. There is a washer and dryer, cd player and dvd player. This home also has high speed internet and free US/Canada calls from Mexico.

Casa Chiminea is in the heart of Vallarta but above all the hustle and bustle, it is easy walking distance to all the best shops and restaurants and the Malecon. The airport is a 15 minute drive. There is a small local grocery two blocks away with all the food you need to cook wonderful meals - including fresh chicken every day - and also a good selection of wine, beer, and soft drinks.
