Overall great service from everyone at PVRPV. Casa Corona provided us with a great experience, but there were some maintenance issues that should be looked into: 1. The back gate was broken when we arrived and was supposed to be fixed by the following Tuesday. It never was fixed during our stay. This created problems for people who were transporting groceries as the front entrance of Casa Corona is at the top of a number of steep steps and cannot be reached by car. As we were buying large boxes of groceries it required us to hold the taxi, run around to the front to open up the back doors so that we could deliver the groceries. Also on our first day, some of the group had gone off shopping and were not aware of the broken gate. We didn\'t want them to make the matter worse, so we put an \"out of order\" sign on the door and indicated that they go around the block to the front entrance which they had not been shown. 2. Wi-Fi stopped half-way through the week and we could not get it started again. We contacted the building manager who gave us the name of the service provider but no one was able to get it started up. This created problems as one of our group had a family member die just before Christmas and needed to have access to email in order to deal with some family issues relating to this death. 3. Vonage Phone stopped working at the time the Wi-Fi stopped working. 4. Casa Corona Ad said washer and dryer available, but we were told not to use them, so we ran out of towels, dish towels, etc. during the last two days of the rental. 5. There were not enough White Towels available, so we were told to use the coloured towels. 6. The floors were washed with bleach and there were a couple of people in our group who got bleach stains on their clothes when they dropped them on the floor before the bleach had completely evaporated. It\'s probably a good idea to warn the guests about this. 7. We had a large number of group dinners. There aren\'t really enough tables to comfortably seat ten to twelve people all together. We were able to use one of the other tables to make it work, but as the house rents out six bedrooms, it might be better to have a better setup for sit down meals as Casa Corona has an excellent atmosphere for these large group meals.Brian. This form was completed by the outside agent who booked the property through PVRPV. The clients were very happy with Casa Corona, their staff and breakfasts which were prepared for them. They had no negative comments at all.Pedro. November 22nd, 2010
Casa Corona was a wonderful experience. Having Vonage available to us to call home was great. The grounds of Casa Corona are just beautiful. We really enjoyed experiencing living in the PV neighborhood for a week. Everyone on the PVRPV staff was attentive to our needs and wants and were there when we needed them.Linda . August 4th, 2010
The second group joining our party had to ride around for 30 minutes because the driver couldn't find the gate. He actually tried to drop them off to find it themselves. Directions were lacking, or he is just stupid!Dennis. May 9th, 2010
This property was just fine. Just a couple of issues that I would like to bring up. When we arrived, we were met by a rep who was lovely and wanted to help. However, he did not seem to have a full working knowledge of the property. For example, we asked about how to turn on the hot tub and were told that we could not use it until the next day. We found that unacceptable so asked to find out how to fix it. He told us it was ready but it really never worked until Carlos came the next day and turned it on properly. I would suggest a guest book of "how to work things in the house". Part of the reason we booked this house was because it had a heated pool. Unfortunately, the pool never heated. The hot tub had varying degrees of temperature (from extremely hot to a brief period of perfect to barely tolerable cool) so it never properly heated the pool and we were unable to swim at all our entire stay. Much as he tried, Carlos was not able to fix it, either. This was a real disappointment. Also, tried as he did, Carlos could never get the speakers to work upstairs. One small recommendation for the house. You need a couch of some sort. There is no place to really lounge and read, etc upstairs in the main room. Overall, we had a good experience, the house was comfortable. The staff was friendly and incredibly efficient. If I had to say anything it was that they did not know the inner workings of the property well enough. Also, that hot tub/pool needs to be fixed before someone else rents it thinking that they could swim.Kristi. January 20th, 2010
Hey Guys - Casa Corona was great -- as noted by our plan to return next spring. Once the wireless internet was relocated to upstairs and was accessible, getting work done was easy. Having access to a Vonage line was really helpful. This house is very conveniently located - a little oasis of sorts in the city. The pvrpv website is pretty user friendly and easy to search. The only frustration I had with your site is that when looking at pictures, you have to open and close them individually to see a larger size instead of being able to scroll through them in the larger format. Totally a minor thing -- just time consuming. Take is for what it's worth. As for your staff -- EVERY interaction we had with each and every staff member was fantastic. A super helpful, friendly and professional group. We are looking forward to our extended time there next February. Best, AshAshley. August 1st, 2009
