PVRPV is proud to announce the launch of a new tool for our property partners and owners. The Promotion Manager tool is now live and can be accessed through the owner´s portal. This tool allows you to enroll properties in discount campaigns, including Stay 7, Pay 5 and a flat discount rate, during the dates of your choosing. See below for detailed instructions on how to use the new Promotion Manager tool and enroll your property today.

PROMOTION MANAGER BENEFITS

PVRPV properties that are enrolled in an ongoing promotion are added to Rental Promotions. This section of our website can be accessed by visiting our site at www.pvrpv.com, and then by clicking the “Rental Promotions” tab towards the top of the page. Promotions are sorted into three categories, as follows:


  1. Stay 7, Pay 5 - This unique promotion, as the name might infer, allows guests to book a seven night stay, at what would typically be the cost for a five night stay.
  2. Property Promotions - Property owners can enlist their property to have a percentage discount for a specific range of dates. For example, 25% off for bookings between June 1st - June 30th.
  3. Last Minute Deals - Any property that has an applied promotion and still features availability within the next 30 days, will be listed within the Last Minute Deals section.

STEP 1 - ACCESS OWNER´S PORTAL

Open your web browser and navigate to www.pvrpv.com


Once at the PVRPV homepage, find and click “Log In” in the header menu, towards the top of the site.


You will then be prompted to enter your login details (email and password). Click “Login to your account” and you will then be brought to the account dashboard window (pictured above).

STEP 2 - FIND PROMOTION MANAGER

Click “Promotion Manager” in the header, towards the top of the account dashboard.


STEP 3 - CHOOSE PROPERTY & PROMOTION

Welcome to the Promotion Manager landing page. On this screen you will see your properties listed to the left, and two options for managing promotions to the right. The two options will be defined below:


“Stay 7, Pay 5” - This tool allows you to enable a promotion which allows guests to book a seven night stay, while paying what would normally be the rate for five days.


“Pick Your Dates” This tool allows you to discount specific time ranges by a set percentage rate (i.e. 15% from July 1st to July 4th.)

HOW TO ENROLL IN.. STAY 7, PAY 5

It is now easier than ever to enroll properties in the Stay 7, Pay 5 promotion. Enrolling properties in this campaign can encourage guests to book while on a budget, and can incentivize longer stays. Read on to see how property owners can activate Stay 7, Pay 5 for their property.

STEP 1 - ACTIVATE STAY 7, PAY 5

Activating the “Stay 7, Pay 5” promotion is relatively easy. Simply click on the orange box to the right of your desired property.


At this point, a context menu will appear with a dropdown menu. From here, you may change between two options.


Yes - Active ON

No - Please do not list my unit 


If option one is selected, the Stay 7, Pay 5 promotion will be applied to your unit. The unit will now show under the Stay 7, Pay 5 search category, and the listing will be given a badge indicating it is part of the Stay 7, Pay 5 campaign.


Click “Update Settings” to apply your changes.


If option two is selected, the Stay 7, Pay 5 promotion will NOT be applied to your unit. The property will still be listed, as per usual, but not within the Stay 7, Pay 5 category.


PLEASE NOTE: IT CAN TAKE BETWEEN 24-48 HOURS FOR UNITS TO SHOW UNDER THE STAY 7, PAY 5 CATEGORY.

HOW TO ENROLL IN.. PICK YOUR DATES

You asked, we listened. Property owners have been asking for a percentage-based discount system and we are pleased to announce that this is now possible through the new promotion manager tool.


For example, sometimes you may be looking to fill an unusual gap in your availability calendar, or perhaps you notice a slowdown in bookings during the shoulder seasons. Property owners now have the ability to offer a percentage discount (i.e. 25% off) for those specific dates.

STEP 1 - OVERVIEW

In order to activate the “Pick Your Dates” promotion, simply click on the blue box to the right of your desired property.


At this point, you will be brought to a page displaying the avaliability calendar. Dates with the blue overlay indicate that the property is occupied, while the orange overlay indicates the present day. Any dates listed in white, are available for booking.


In order to begin applying a promotion, click the bottom right corner icon of the dates you would like to modify. This will cause a context menu to appear (pictured below).

STEP 2 - CHOOSE DATE RANGE

The first option in the context menu is the “From Date”. This is the date from which the promotion will begin. Click on the date field to select your preferred start date.


The second option in the context menu is the “To Date”. This is the date at which point the promotion will end. Click on the date field to select your preferred end date.

STEP 3 - CHOOSE DISCOUNT %

The third item in the context menu is the “Discount” option. This is the discount percentage that you would applied between the above date range. Click on your preferred discount rate and then click “Add Promotion” to apply your choices.


If a discount is chosen and applied, the unit will now show under the Rental Promotions search category, and the listing will be given a badge indicating the savings percentage of the promotion.


If you would like to remove a promotion, click on the applicable dates, and change the “Discount” option to NO.
