In March of 2020, as many of you may know, the travel industry as we knew was impacted greatly by COVID19. The industry was not prepared for what was about to happen with a complete shutdown of travel.
AirBNB, HomeAway now known as VRBO and many other online booking sites were slammed with an onslaught of guest cancellations without the man power to respond personally to each request. A decision, that many property owners still criticize to this day, was made to create a sweeping policy that allowed cancellations and refunds without owners approvals. In addition to a change in cancellation polices and home owner contracts, they shuttered all business to business relationships. Due to lack of man power coupled with new found expenses without revenues, they adapted their operations as needed.
Now, with what most feel is the worse behind us, property owners and online sites are looking to forge new relationships and ways to conduct business in a progressive manner. Firm cancellation polices are thing of the past with the guest insecurity in travel. Shorter cancelation policies and full refunds are the new norm.
Many property owners have asked us to have their properties listed on these 3rd party websites while we continue to manage their rental business like it was pre-COVID19 shutdown.
As your property partner, we have listened and a new relationship has been formed with AirBNB & VRBO to list your property on their sites. However, New conditions and cancellation policies enforced by the platforms will be a part of all listings on their sites.
NOTE: We are NOT changing our booking policies or our Unique Circumstance Policy for COVID19 at PVRPV.com. Our policies will remain the same for all bookings made through PVRPV. The only changes to policies will be property owners that wish to opt-in for reservations booked via AirBNB or VRBO.

How do I get my property online with AirBNB / VRBO?
|

|
Step 1 - Log into your Property Partners Dashboard https://www.pvrpv.com/account/partners
Step 2 – In Property Partners dashboard and can see the new section called Online Platform Partners.
Step 3 – Click on the "Online Property Platforms" on the left hand side menu.

Step 4 – Once you click on the link for “Online Property Platforms” your property or properties will appear in the centre of the screen.
|
|
Step 5 – Click on a logo for AirBNB or VRBO
Step 6 – A “Pop up” screen will appear.
Step 7 – A drop down menu under “Change Status” will appear. Select “Yes – Active ON” and then click “UPDATE SETTINGS”
