Please be advised that, as of February 1 2022, in line with cost of inflation, we will be increasing our property management fees. Maid services fees will align with or closer to industry standards. Since 2019, due to the onset of COVID19, we did not increase our property management fees or maid service fees.
 
Although inflation did occur in 2020 and 2021, we knew some owners were not able to sustain increases during a time that rentals were slow and there was so much uncertainty in the market.   We worked diligently to align out internal costs, wages, salaries and profits all while still providing raises and promotions to our staff.  Over those 2 years, moreover the last year, costs have risen so quickly and so exponentially, we have no choice but to raise fees to align with costs.

As per the above chart, in 2021, the annual cost of inflation in Mexico closed at 7.36% percent. Therefore, our rate increase will be 7.36% for all property management services, which is average of inflation for 2021. This does not include the 16% value-added tax, therefore, as an example, if your property management fees were 2931MXN pesos per month, on January 1, 2019 the new rate will now be, 3146.72MX pesos plus the value added tax of 16%. The value added tax is not an income for PVRPV and this amount is submitted directly to the Mexican government on a monthly basis.
