Property Owners IMPORTANT UPDATE

···
As you may know many areas within North America are being affected by COVID-19  (Coronavirus). This is going to impact the travel industry for what we hope, will be a short period of time.

Being proactive for our guests and property owners alike, we are gathering information daily as events unfold.

To date, the majority of all travel companies like, airlines, hotels, AirBNB, Homeaway are offering deferred travel or travel credits for future use for guests impacted by areas of concern.  Up until March 4th the majority of those areas of concern were overseas.  Today, March 5th, this has started to change.  An example is Seattle Washington, with over 50 cases and 9 deaths have issued a state-wide travel precautions.

With some travel companies requiring documentation for cancellations, doctors’ notes for those with preexisting conditions will start to come in from areas with reasons of concern.

While this is a situation that is changing constantly and beyond our control, we are making plans and preparing to manage it in the best possible manner for all.

PVRPV Preparation & Reaction to COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Updated cancellation policy

· · ·

On a case by case basis, guests can submit their request for a cancellation.  Upon review, if it is deemed necessary, we will extend a “credit note”. The credit note will be for the amount already paid towards their booking. The credit note will only be redeemable to the same property they originally booked.  The credit note value will be the same value as the original booking amount.  It will be a credit towards a new booking to be used before December 31 2020. If the new booking is at a higher rate, the credit from the original booking will be applied and the guest will pay the difference.

We will issue Travel Credits under the following circumstances:
  • If it is deemed they are travelling from an area greatly impacted by coronavirus
  • A doctor deems travel would be unsafe for the guest
  • The CDC, World Health Organization or Country specific organization deems travel to or from an area unsafe

This is not the first time the travel industry has been impacted by this sort of situation.  Companies that gained and retained customers were those that worked with their guests through these difficult types of situations.

Thank you for cooperation.
