INFORMATION ABOUT FLY SAFE
ONLINE HEALTH QUESTIONNAIRE
The Mexican civil aviation, health and transportation departments have added an online health form as a requirement for the entry and exit of Mexico called “Vuela Seguro – Fly Safe”

What is the platform “Fly Safe” for?
Fly Safe is the new web platform of the Mexican airline industry that controls health risks at airports and airplanes. This online health questionnaire is a way to help protect yourself and your companions from CoViD-19 and other risks before, during and after flying.

Travelers to Mexico must complete this
health questionnaire form and scan the QR code it generates on arrival. Although they have been requesting health information previously, this new process is simple, saves time and helps to avoid line ups with the use of the QR code.

Don’t know what a QR code is? No need to worry.  Once you fill out this
online health questionnaire on your mobile device, it will automatically generate the code for you.

What can I do if I don’t have a mobile device?
Don’t worry. You must complete the Health Questionnaire electronically (it no longer exists on paper) with the help of airport or airline personnel. Once you have checked in at your airline's counter, go to the nearest airport assistance module at least 30 minutes in advance so they can help you complete your Assisted Health Questionnaire. Then you can go through the usual security filters.

Key Points:
  • All travelers arriving in Mexico at an airport must fill out the online health form before travel. Individuals departing from Mexico are also required to fill out the form.
  • The form is for anyone traveling to Mexico regardless of their nationality or immigration status.
  • Travelers that do NOT have a mobile device should fill out the form prior to leaving their home or vacation rental so they can print out a paper form. The form does not guarantee entry.

What is the Obligatory Health Questionnaire for?

Like in any other country, Mexico established a Health Questionnaire to enter the airport and board your aircraft. At the end of the four sections of the questionnaire, a personal QR Code and a green or yellow sign will be generated. If your personal QR Code is green, you can immediately access the security check at the airport. If you or any of your travel companions gets a yellow QR Code, you must go to the security filter and undergo a face-to-face examination by an authorized doctor. This doctor will define if he allows your access to the plane or not, due to risk of infection.
