STORM WATCH
UPDATE 5am.

This storm watch update is to clarify the current information about the pending tropical storm.  This storm NOT a Category 2 as you may have read or heard.

This storm may bring heavy rains but most likely, not much more. Heavy rains may cause some flooding in low lying areas. Flip flops and a good umbrella will be good tools, when weather permits you to be outside. Always be very cautious when you are outside at the tail end of a storm, sidewalks maybe slippery and un-noticeable when the water fills the streets. The power goes off periodically in Puerto Vallarta, not just during hurricane season. Have candles matches, flashlight and charge your mobile devices, if you are concerned about the potential loss of electricity.

Like in all storms, use Caution. Have a Plan. There is no need to panic.

We ask you to please ensure to keep doors to balconies, patios and terraces closed.  Any light weight items like seat cushions, pillows, decorations, towels etc.,  please bring them in to your unit.

When the rains comes through Puerto Vallarta, it can actually be very interesting to see the town stay alive even when the rain comes down.  Many covered, street-side restaurants and bars remain open for those that wish to enjoy the sites of the rain.

Should their be any change or more information about the storm, we will update you as soon as we have confirmed information.
